Liked: Naka Raj Escape is on the outskirts of Nakhon Phanom, however it is within 10 minutes drive to the centre and around 5 minutes to the road that connects with the river front road. The hotel location is peaceful right on the banks of the Mekong. Phaya Cafe which is part of the hotel is a superb coffee shop and restaurant with fantastic views of the Mekog and Laos. Drink and food choice is excellent. The Hotel swimming pool is excellent.

Disliked: If anything I would prefer a lighter breakfast like cereal, yoghurt etc. The breakfast consisted of 4 set choices. Now that is my preference and in no way suggests the breakfast was not adequate because it was. You can have your breakfast served in your room or you can take it at Phaya Cafe.
