“Comment on Home”
I stayed at Nang Sen Home last week. I was pleasantly surprised—the room was very beautiful and clean. It was truly excellent value for money, and if I have the chance to return to Hanoi I will definitely trust and book Nang Sen Home again.

The home is pretty good. Close to West Lake, just a short walk. There are convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, and the owner was cute and helpful. Quiet, and Nang Sen Home allowed early check-in. My first experience coming to Hanoi was very nice.

When I checked in, there were personal items left behind (clothes, shoes, and cooking condiments) from a long-term guest. Also, the room's curtains were quite thin and the neighbors could see through. However, the host was friendly and helpful.

“Above average”
I had a very frustrating experience during my stay at this property in Hanoi. While the host was responsive, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. First, the access is extremely inconvenient – the room is located up 5 flights of stairs with no elevator. If you have heavy luggage or mobility issues, this is a major challenge. The biggest issue for me was the complete lack of privacy. The curtains are completely transparent, and the room is positioned right next to the neighbor’s window. You can see right in, and they can see right in – it made me feel very uncomfortable and exposed the entire time. The amenities were also poorly thought out. The host provided only shampoo, but no shower gel or body wash – a strange and inconvenient choice. On top of that, the host was inflexible when I asked to leave my luggage in the lobby for a few hours after check-out. This made my last day very difficult, as I had to carry my bags around the city. Overall, the service was minimal and the stay was uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place unless you're okay with very basic conditions and zero flexibility.
