New Orchid Hotel

They’ve recently updated all of the rooms, so the hotel is really nice. In terms of Singapore, it’s an excellent budget option and the manager Jimmy is really cool as well. Plus, it’s in a great food area, where the costs are much lower, so that’s a plus. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Singapore.

Simple clean room with good location

The room smells. Hotel need a serious uplift. Everything is old.

for the price an acceptable place for a short stay.facilities are what might be expected for a budget hotel

This place would be good to explore Singapore for a few days if they actually bothered cleaning it.

Overall was good. Location was good too, easy to get bus. Room was clean but slightly old.

Although the hotel name is called the new Orchard the place looks very old. There are a lot of junk near and in the reception and around the entrance. They make the place look very junkie and untidy. There’s this unpleasant smell inside and outside the room. Well I booked the hotel it says there is window in the room and the room size is 19 m². But turns out there is no window in the room and the room size is only about 10 m². No hand wash or soap provided. Only half bottle of shampoo & body wash was provided, which is only as big as a thumb and was previous opened. There are rusty marks and black mod or dirty marks in the shower area. The shower looks very shabby. No wall, glass or curtain provided for the shower so the water is all over in the bathroom. There is tiny threshold of 5 cm high around the shower area, which is not possible to stop the water running out of the shower area.

I ask for help and she immediately responds. Many thanks
