New Sun Hotel Nha Trang

From the moment we stepped into the lobby we could feel the warm welcome from the reception staff and bellboys. I especially want to thank Annie for taking such thoughtful care of our family. She remembered guest details and served us very accurately. For example, Annie asked the barista to prepare an extra glass of water without ice for our child. Location: Extremely convenient for going to the beach and experiencing the local culture. Opposite the hotel is Sailing Club, which has a great view for photos during the day and a DJ at night (if you’re sensitive to noise you can request a room on a higher floor). Room: Our family stayed in the Family Connecting Room with Ocean View — it was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The view from the 10th floor was beautiful. During our stay there didn’t seem to be a DJ across the street, so we didn’t notice any noise at night. Service: Professional, fast, accurate, and very warm. Special compliments again to Annie at reception. There was also a female receptionist with glasses at checkout who immediately recognized which room our family was in even though she hadn’t served us before. The bellboys were also extremely enthusiastic. Our whole family felt very comfortable staying at New Sun Hotel Nha Trang. A hotel worth experiencing.

1. The condition was so bad that we just dropped our bags and stayed out the whole time. 2. The location is so-so. 3. Fruit flies were everywhere — it really felt like a run-down roadside motel. 4. The fridge is a tiny PeltiX-style unit so nothing in it stays cold, yet they charged an extra fee because we drank the lukewarm water inside (wouldn’t you expect water in a hotel fridge to be complimentary? It wasn’t even beer or a soft drink). This small thing destroyed all trust and goodwill. 5. They asked to hold our passports as a guarantee, which felt uncomfortable. We were worried they might make counterfeit passports.

Central location near the beach and the Trầm Hương Tower, between two shopping centers (Vincom), close to many nice cafes. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the front desk and security staff were friendly and helpful. Overall very satisfied — I’ll stay here again next time I come to Nha Trang.

The location is convenient, close to AB Central Square. The price is very reasonable. However, there is only one elevator and it’s very small — with three adults and two suitcases it’s full. There are three rooms per floor and no facilities. It’s basically motel-level, so it’s a very cost-effective place for a rest before a flight.

Very nice hotel and rooms are clean and very modern. Piece was affordable and location was great. Wish the bathroom was smaller so that the room itself had more space. The bed took up much of the room. But there was a wardrobe and a desk to work at.

This is my favorite hotel in Nha Trang — everything was wonderful, very satisfied, highly recommend it to everyone:)

1. The bed in the room did not match what was booked. 2. The bathroom partition should be replaced — it is very inconvenient. 3. Amenities provided were not sufficient for the number of guests. 4. There was no explanation given to guests about the room's usage rules and conditions. 5. The reception area had no air conditioning and used a fan instead — this is the first hotel in my life where the reception uses a fan.

Compact, calm, and quiet. This is just my personal impression, but although it wasn't absolutely perfect, when I spent the last night of a two-week trip here I somehow felt nostalgic and was able to relax. I would like to come back again.
