Disliked: The room was not well cleaned. the desk had oil stains, the shower was full of dark, moldy spots. The staff was very uncooperative when I asked to sign a form for the reimbursement of the price by my university. My stay was for a conference in Brooklyn.

The lobby was very quiet and empty when we arrived, we had to wait around 10 minutes before we could check in. The rooms are spacious but not very clean, there was a problem with our shower so they had to transfer us. Also the bar was on the 5th floor but it was very noisy. There was a point where the customers of the bar were in the hallway shouting and fighting.

I booked a night at this hotel and when I arrived The only thing I wanted to do was not be in the hotel. They have loose hanging electrical wires above the showers literally right above the showerhead where the steam goes there’s visible loose hanging electrical wires that were just left there. This could electrocute you at any second just from steam. One shock in a wet shower it will kill you. Not only this if those wires started a fire that is the type of fire that becomes violent and deadly. The entire ceiling would go up in flames and engulf the rest of the floors above. IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH AT THIS HOTEL WELL, THEN THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY BELONGINGS. When I went to check out the next morning, I left my belongings In the room and I forgot that I left them there. I must have been gone a total of three minutes where I went downstairs I handed them the room key and I just took two steps out the door, and I said to myself, “ Wait, I still have the stuff in the room. I have to get that.” Before I left the room, there was a man knocking on the door to clean the room or do whatever. So I know somebody was on that floor, wanting to come into the room. When I went to get my belongings that I forgot I left, they were gone. They were not there anymore. Literally I was gone for less than five minutes and they were gone. I called the Front Desk. I was like where’s my stuff that I just left here. They said well if it’s not there, no one was in the room. Which is impossible I literally left it there for three minutes before I came back to get it and it was gone. They kept trying to say we don’t have it that how could they have it if no one was in the room. I finally said either you guys are gonna call the police or you’re gonna give me my stuff back so you guys need to decide which is gonna happen, but I’m not leaving this room until you guys do one or the other. Finally, they said OK here’s your things. After telling me, they don’t have it. No one was in the room, blatantly lying to me all of a sudden they said to here are your belongings. And to be clear, this was ongoing in multiple times they told me and after speaking between themselves then also again coming back to me still telling you they don’t have it. They finally told me OK here your belongings and they gave them to me. If you don’t want to die in a fire, get electrocuted or Have your belongings stolen from you, don’t stay at this hotel. Disliked: This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The balcony was twice the size of the room and only had 2 chairs. Bed had a crater. Had to change rooms. Tv turned on by itself at 6am max volume. Bathroom pipes extremely loud.
