Novotel Miami Brickell

Liked: Modern and clean.

Disliked: Dark bathroom (needed more lights), shower needed a door (water sprayed everywhere on floor without door), scanner to get into parking garage didn’t work (we had to call 3 times to get in).

Liked: The location is amazing and pretty clean and cool.

Liked: Very clean great bar area

Disliked: Tv in room wasn’t working complained twice to no avail

Liked: This is not my first time at this hotel I like its location. the pool and bar and its rooms are comfortable.

Disliked: There seems to be a mismatch between booking on Booking rather directly with the hotel. I had booked for room with breakfast, and the hotel had informed me I had not I would need to pay an additional 80 dollars (which is on the high side).

Liked: Great location Clean rooms

Liked: The hotel is very beautiful and clean, the location is great to stay downtown. The room was very bright and spacious. The bathroom was great!

Disliked: We stayed on the 2nd floor, a horrible view of the metro, and also the noise of the metro was very loud and it happened every couple of minutes. The pillows were not really comfortable. The shower didn’t have great water pressure.

Liked: Clean modern contemporary and lots of natural light.

Disliked: There was a loud noise in the room but maintenance handled it.

Liked: Check out went well, quick and efficient.

Disliked: The check-in staffer was more interested in why I was in Miami, then properly checking me in…he stated I was in one room and in actually put me in another “your in rm 309” but in poor penmanship wrote 304; he also indicated to bring parking ticket to front desk for processing, so. I could come in and Out on the daily rate of 35.00; which was not done, hence I ended up paying 45.00 on first day; it was corrected for new ticket for next day by a co-worker, which confirmed that the initial ticket was not in the system. Also, the actual cost is more than 35.00. the garage is very tight, unless you have a small car to maneuver around each level. The room was mediocre for the rate, the TV set up was unusual, and personal servicing the rooms spoke no English, hence unable to explain how it was setup; 2 attempts were made before correctly displaying the box which was upside down behind the TV. Lastly, the water for shower did not reach a temperature that I prefer…not hot enough.
