“Never again”

Disliked: I paid in advance. I showed them the confirmation from booking.com, but they didn't care about it. They said that they had internal computer problems and I would have to preauth the whole amount of the room on my credit card or leave! The correct process was for them to contact booking.com to verify that I had paid, but they didn't do this for reasons they've never explained to me. I emailed a complaint to the head of reception and she sent me back an obviously AI-generated response that it was clear she hadn't read, because it was phrased as coming from the wrong department! When I complained to the General Manager about all this, he said that his staff had followed correct procedure and he was proud of them. Make of that what you will.

“Adequate if you have an early flight out of Nice.”

Liked: Location

Disliked: Communication about the shuttle was difficult. Waited far too long for the shuttle only to walk from the airport. The room was too hot (fixed temp for cooling) and the comforter too warm. This would have been workable if there was a top sheet.

“Good location - check your room carefully”

Liked: Good location. Spacious room.

Disliked: Our air condition broke and dripped in the middle of the night. Seems like a recurring problem. They promised compensation- but still nothing.

“Overall was pleasant, would only improve the cleanliness.”

Liked: Was nicely furnished and the location was excellent. A short walk to the airport and to the TER train, and to trams taking you to Nice centre. We chose not to have breakfast but the restaurant also looked really nice.

Disliked: Not very clean. There were hairs all over the floor unfortunately, as well as pieces of a clothing label from a previous guest. I asked for a vacuum on the first night as there were large clumps of hair in some areas. The cleaner was not around the night of arrival so we had to wait till the morning for the vacuum to be done. There were also stains on the sofa and the bedsheet.
