“good but too small”

Liked: location was great, bar and resturant was good. workers were friendly.

Disliked: The room size was tiny for 3 people and the beds were very small. you could not expect 2 adults to share a bed. we ended up pushing 2 beds together and someone sleep in the crack as this was the only way to have enough space for sleeping in the beds as well as luggage on the floor. and you expect 2 people to share a bed but you provide those massivly long pillows! you cant even fit 2 pillows on the bed properly! it was crazy. the pillows were also not very comfortable. ended up asking for a different pillow which was slightly better.

“Convenient but disappointing”

Liked: Good location, near the harbour (walking distance 10 mins), near Wynyard train station. Several decent breakfast spots nearby.

Disliked: On arrival we were checked in by an Indian gent with a stony face and rather cold unwelcoming attitude. No smiles, no greetings. The room was on the 7th floor, with a view of a flat roof, and an office block opposite. No curtains on the windows - roller blinds only. I found the beds hard. The 'wardrobe' is a chicken wire cage with squeaky, rusty sounding hinges. Very strange styling. The room safe made noises like it was dying when opening or closing. I won't stay here again.
