“Good but not great wouldn’t recommend if you value your sleep”
The reason why I wouldn’t recommend it is because of the noises at night. I stayed 2 nights and both night I barely had any sleep at all. On the second night I got cold and flue and I needed to sleep so badly, sadly I didn’t until 3am - woke up at 5am to catch my flight. It was a nightmare. You’ll get people coming talking so loudly in the corridor next to your room. Someone would enter your room and talk loudly while you’re asleep. I had a few girls came in the room singing so loudly at 12am. Next day after the people go drinking they come back and you can hear them from the kitchen area very loud. So my experience in terms of sleep was the worst ever. But maybe that’s why hostels aren’t for me. Because I’m not a night person, I like waking up early and explore. But if you’re there to go drinking and meet people at night, it’s a good place for you.

“Nice place to stay in Old Town”
Liked: Staff was super nice and they organize games and stuff in the evening to entertain people. The location is also super central so you can walk wherever you want.
Disliked: They don’t accept card only cash and tbh the room wasn’t as nice as the pictures.

“Solid private room, share spaces were clean”
Liked: Great location in Old Town! Had a private room but all the shared spaces (bathroom, kitchen) were very clean. Social vibe + activites if you're looking for that, otherwise a homebase that felt safe and welcoming.
Disliked: Beds aren't particularly comfortable, and you will definitely get some noise until around 10:30pm. Quite pricey but makes sense due to location.

“Exceptional”
Great location and an amazing atmosphere! The location is perfect, with everything you need just a short walk away. The welcome was super warm and friendly, and the hostel has such a great vibe. The social activities make it really easy to meet people and connect with other travellers. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Kotor!

“I did not enjoy my stay at this Homestel which was infact the old town hostel.”
Disliked: I booked for the Homestel but I found I was in the Old Town Hostel as it all seemed to be the same thing. It didn't look at all like the photos on Booking.com. I found the place grubby and didn't enjoy my stay

“Great location & friendly staff!”
Because it's located within the Old Town area, it was very convenient for sightseeing and activities. They also organized activities. The staff and the other guests were very friendly, and I think it's a hostel where you can enjoy socializing.
