“A/C policy ruines it all”
Liked: Staff, location.
Disliked: Terrible air conditioning policy. We spent five nights complaining of the warm temperatures in the room. The staff tried to defend the one temperature, maximum low for all guests policy. We were a group with 5 rooms and unknowingly all had the same complaint to no avail. They will argue some narrative but it’s un defendable that guests can’t be empowered to choose their preferred temperature.

“Excellent”
Liked: The room and hotel were absolutely gorgeous. We had a two-story room with ocean views, and the location was perfect, surrounded by history and restaurants and situated right at the start of all the main attractions.

“5 Star Hotels Should Have Air Conditioning”
My husband and I decided to stay in this 5 star hotel for our final stop during our honeymoon. This was our splurge, seeing the hotel was beautiful, centrally located, and had a spa. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work for 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed. When it did work, we called and they said we could not make it lower than what it was at (I believe around 23.5). Out of all the hotels we have stayed in (6 of them) this was the most expensive and the only one without cool air during an extremely hot trip. Everything else was fine and the women working the front desk were lovely.

Liked: Staff beyond incredible. I fell and needed crutches. They treated me like family. The facilities were extraordinary. Location too. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who’s going to Sicily and say they should go to Siracusa just to stay there. I’ve traveled the world and stayed in some of the nicest hotels. This is the best I’ve ever stayed in.
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like.

“It was a very elegant and well kept hotel”
Liked: It’s was a very nice facility and the location was good
Disliked: The stairs in the room. Too much up and down and if you’re going to have 2 levels put a TV in both. I didn’t like finding out the addition fees were 30% on top of the price quoted. I should have been told that before selecting the hotel. 5% 10% I don’t mind but when the final bill is 30% higher that bothers me. Also at a 5 star hotel I expect someone to greet me when I pull up the car and no one ever did each time.
