“STAY AWAY!!”
I booked this hotel last minute because it was one of the cheaper options, and the photos looked decent. this was SUCH a mistake. The room (despite booking king deluxe) was tiny, and dirty. The AC was non functional, and it took 2 full sized adults pushing at the window to get it closed in an attempt to keep hot air out. The bathroom was the worst i’ve ever seen at a hotel. First and foremost, they gave us 1 towel, even though we booked for 2 people and it took nearly an hour after we requested an additional one for them to bring it to us. Then we finally used the shower, there was a ton of chunky brown buildup on the showerhead, and hair in the drain. Also, i think it’s fair to expect shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. What we got was 1 full sized bottle of conditioner, 2 random different travel sized bottles of conditioner, and a travel sized body wash. No shampoo to be found. Also the 3 brands of conditioner sketched us out. There is a certain amount of noise that can be expected when staying this close to times square. This however was extreme. I would never book this again. Also worth noting is that many rooms look out towards the Palace Theatre across the street, which has a giant LED screen that is on at all hours of the night, and the blinds are not enough to block out the light in any way. With the blonds fully closed it still felt like daytime in our room. We paid nearly $***a night for our room and honestly i would have preferred to sleep in our car. Staff was friendly which was appreciated but otherwise it was a disaster

Liked: Absolutely nothing
Disliked: Disgustingly dirty and worn lobby furniture. Creepy staff. The room itself - bathroom outlets didn’t work. Everything was dirty and dusty. They didn’t have real furniture. Metal bed dorm room style broken stuff. No fire extinguisher in room. Broken phone

Liked: Location, Location, Location! The locations is A+++++. The front door let's you out right AT the big famous red TKTS stairs at the top of Times Square. You will NOT find a hotel with a better location. Simply unbeatable.
Disliked: The room condition was poor and no frills (no fridge, no kuerig, etc) But the location balanced this negative aspect of the stay.
