The hotel is in good location and has clean spacious rooms

Overall, we had a good stay at Park Inn by Radisson Melbourne. The location was excellent, with a tram stop just across the road, making it very convenient to get around the city. However, one major disappointment was the swimming pool. We stayed for 4 days, and the pool did not appear to be cleaned at all throughout our stay. Since the pool was the hotel’s main recreational facility, it was disappointing that it wasn’t properly maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the great location, but we hope the hotel improves its pool cleanliness and maintenance for future guests.

A pleasant stay with a good balance of value and convenience. The room size was a highlight, while the bathroom was comfortable and practical. The location worked well for getting around by transport, and the property was clean, with helpful staff and solid facilities overall.

Great location, friendly staff and lots to do in the area. The Zoo, the walking / jogging / exercise track around Ikon Park. Shops around Sydney Rd and its close to catch a tram or drive into the city👍

Very good place to stay with family!

We were on the 3rd floor which hasn't yet been renovated apparently. The first room had no hot water at all. Not 1 drop. We switched to the room next door. The beds were hard, the shampoo amd wash dispensers were broken. There was no toilet roll holder. The windows were covered in spider webs and stuck open making the traffic extreme loud and I was scared the spiders would come in through the night. The pool was green, I wouldnt allow my kids to swim in it. The most disappointing thing is we paid for buffet breakfast, however there's no restaurant so we got a coupon for 1 piece of toast, 2 eggs and 1 piece of bacon from a Cafe 5 mins walk down the road. The Cafe was amazing however it was quality just not what my children were wanting for breakfast and there was no alterations allowed. When mentioned the problems, staff said my floor wasnt renovated. I wish id know before booking. The price certainly didnt reflect the quality of our room and I feel we were definitely ripped off. On the other hand, the staff were lovely. I just wish we had of been given free parking or a reduced rate for the inconveniences.

Park Inn is an old dog with a few fleas. As a budget option to save a few $ in AFL grand final week, it was fine. Once the room quality matches the foyer renovation, this Inn will be much better. Positives were (a) price, (b) location and access to transport and (c) clean and comfortable beds. Negatives were (a) food debris on one bedside table at check in, (b) rusty and handleless toilet brush, (c) patches of stubborn mould between bathroom tiles, (d) paint peeling above shower, (e) water pressure horrendous, (f) aircon filter that may not have been cleaned this year or last and (g) the piles of junk in the hotel alley (see photo) further degrading an already dismal view to rear of property. This property is cheap for a reason. Read the reviews and make an informed choice. Price and location are great for Melbourne during a busy period. Close proximity in particular to trams and Brunswick dining options.

The only good thing was location and the service staff. 2 days the room hot water was not working, the room was changed on 3rd night and that new room washroom glass door was not fixed and could fell on guests.
