Pension Nostalgie - Minihotel

Liked: Location, nice antique style and decoration, accommodating and friendly staff, easy to store luggage before and after the stay

Disliked: The bathtub is not senior friendly, one cannot use it as a shower because the ceiling is very low. Hard to sit for seniors and not easy to not let water go out of the tub. Looks like the only option there is to take a bath, which is not what everyone would like.

Liked: We visited for one night and occupied two rooms, each with its own bathroom. Each bedroom (we had #2 and #3) was beautifully decorated with a sofa, table, comfortable chairs, two twin beds forming a queen. The furnishings were solid wood, interesting, unique, and substantial. The bathrooms were large, well-supplied. The water pressure was very good. The accommodations were sparking clean. Guests have access to an equipped kitchen with several small tables, a coffee/espresso machine, a microwave, toaster, fridge, and more. Coffee and tea supplies were provided along with an assortment of fresh fruit. The view from Pension Nostalgie was lovely. It is amidst the old town, but still just a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Communication was very good and staff were definitely quick to respond. Check-in and check-out were stream-lined and easy. The rates, services, and accommodations make this property a very good value. We appreciated being able to drop our bags off before check-in and leave them for a few hours after check-out. On top of all this, the vibe was magical. It is a property that tells a story. We would stay here again, in a heartbeat. Loved it!

Disliked: We liked everything. No cons here. While not an issue for us, this property is not well-suited for someone with mobility challenges.

The location is great and the accommodation is awesome. It is a renovated old house, giving a medieval feel while the lodging is modern and comfortable. The location is easily accessible to everywhere, and there are famous restaurants right in front, which is convenient. Also, I requested a taxi, and they called one right to the front of the hotel.

The square and the castle are a 1-2 minute walk away. The best location. The shared kitchen with a coffee machine and refrigerator was convenient, and the shower worked perfectly. It was great that I could log in easily with WeChat and check in quickly. Highly recommended.

After taking a double-decker bus from Prague, it takes about 13 minutes to arrive at my accommodation in Český Krumlov. I couldn't meet the owner and communicated through the app to enter the room. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and it was nice to be able to use the kitchen upstairs. However, the entire town has cobblestone streets, which made it very inconvenient to pull my suitcase. Considering this, it might be a good idea to choose an accommodation location accordingly.

Liked: Great location, easily accessible and owner was very responsive

The antique furniture and the interior of the common areas felt like something out of a picture book, and combined with the view from the window, it was as if I were dreaming. There are probably only about three rooms, so it shouldn't be too crowded. Check-in and other essentials are basically all self-service, so please make sure not to miss any messages from the owner! However, the owner is definitely not neglecting the guests; they actively send information about tourist attractions and were quick and kind in addressing any issues I caused due to my mistakes. I had the best time during my stay of just one day since there were no available rooms the next day. Thank you very much.

I spent one night in Český Krumlov and really enjoyed my stay here. The room is spacious and clean; bathroom comes with all the amenities you need. Location is great. Communication was easy and fast. Would recommend 😊
