Pera Bosphorus Hotel

Liked: Izzet nestin and ali very helpfull staff thanks

To enjoy our final stop in Türkiye, Istanbul, we gave up Novotel and booked three Sea View Deluxe rooms. But upon arrival they immediately suggested moving us to Seven Hills Palace in the Sultanahmet area, saying it was a better hotel with a pool, and told us the booked rooms had been changed to one Sea View Deluxe and two Standards. They showed us the cramped standard room where we couldn't even open our suitcases and encouraged us to move by offering a slightly larger room at the other hotel. They even offered to cover the taxi van fare to persuade us to move, but contrary to their claim that it was a 10-minute trip, heavy traffic made it take over 30 minutes, which made us later for our next plans (the Museum of Modern Art and the sunset cruise) and caused disruptions. Being given rooms different from the reserved ones (Standard instead of Deluxe) and being moved to an older, more run-down area farther from the booked hotel forced us to spend extra time and energy climbing steep hills. It was especially difficult because a colleague has a painful ankle. We still have not received an explanation for why rooms of a different type were reserved.

Liked: Location

Disliked: Noisy disco until 4 am Construction from 7 am Very bad smil from bath room

The location is perfect. Tv in the romm doesn't have arabic channels and there is some construction going around so the noise start early moring we couldn't get sleep. Too much disturbing.

Liked: Very good location
