Liked: Room and bathroom were super clean.
Disliked: Pillows and blanket were not very comfortable. Only a single very thin blanket was offered in the room. We could request an extra one at the reception, but we arrived at the room late at night and the reception could not provide it at that time (which is fair).

“Very good”
Liked: Great location. Close to loads of restaurants and bars. Close to the Metro, which gives access to the whole city. Very clean throughout, both our room and the public areas. The room was simple but had everything we needed. There were plenty of electric outlets, ideal for charging multiple phones and laptops. The shower was excellent!! ( An absolute "must have"!). Having a really good shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water always adds to the pleasure of the stay.
Disliked: On the whole we had a great stay, but there were things that could have been improved. The mattress was perfectly acceptable, but not exceptional. Probably just needs an update. Likewise, the breakfast was good...but not great. The selection could certainly be expanded. The fruit juice, which is usually a treat in Brazil, was pretty basic and certainly not made in-house from real fruit. These are minor niggles, but worth pointing out.

“Excellent”
Liked: Lovely staff, spoke English which was a relief as my Portuguese is minimal. A really nice place. Breakfast was fabulous, wide range.
Disliked: No tea/coffee making in the room.

“Hotel bom.”
Hotel bom, arrumado, limpo! Mas achei o quarto muito pequeno pelo valor pago, ja fiquei em outros hotéis do mesmo nível com quartos maiores. Esse mal tinha espaço pra dad a volta na cama. Tirando isso, tudo certo!

“Location is great to go everywhere in Rio. However we found cleaning not acceptable.”

Disliked: Cleaning was a serious issue. Ou room was arranged everyday but bathroom was never cleaned in four days stay.
