“Great peaceful stay with excellent hospitality!”

Our room was super clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with amenities. The bathroom was very clean and spacious too. A special mention to the lovely buggy driver who took us on a nice tour around the resort grounds before check-in and check-out! The resort is peaceful and offers great privacy as it wasn't crowded. The swimming pool is large with a nice kids' section. Breakfast was à la carte—toddlers eat for free, though it wasn't clear what was included in the free meal (we used an extra voucher to get porridge for our toddler). The only minor downsides were the weak Wi-Fi signal and limited TV channels. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay!

“Peaceful retreat surrounded by nature”

Philea Resort & SPA is a great choice for a relaxed, slow getaway if you are looking for peace and natural fresh air. It is conveniently located just a 2-minute drive from the highway and about 20 to 30 minutes away from the historical city center. The welcoming lobby features elegant music and cozy, artistic wooden furniture that immediately makes you feel calm. The receptionists are wonderful, and the pool is as clean and refreshing as others describe. While they offer a convenient buggy service, the drivers unfortunately never seem to smile. Additionally, if you want to use the sauna, you must inform the staff an hour in advance so they can heat it up. The rooms are surrounded by trees, and waking up to the fresh air is a definite highlight. However, the rooms feel a bit old, and the general maintenance needs improvement considering the prices remain the same as they were 8 years ago. The villas also have a very distinct hemp rope scent due to the resort's unique architectural building technique. The management claims this signature "Philea wooden smell" promotes better sleep, but personally, I do not find it pleasant or calming. I love the scent of premium woods like Agarwood or Sandalwood, but this specific rope smell—which is exactly the same as my visit 8 years ago—just isn't for me. Despite the room's age and the distinct smell, the quiet environment and beautiful nature make it a solid choice for a peaceful retreat.
