Liked: Children friendly, enough space for a family (5) Quiet neighbourhood with train station, coffee, grocery stores near by

Liked: My 5 year old loved it. She wanted to go back to her hotel room every time we were out. Very family friendly!

Disliked: The check in was a little confusing. You’re supposed to go to a location nearby the train station. I didn’t know that and went straight to the hotel, luckily someone was leaving and I was able to enter the lobby and call customer service(since no staff is on site). They were able to give me my room key code.

Liked: Super clean and new!! Great facilities

Liked: The kids loved the room. The beds were comfortable.

Disliked: The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. The staff was not available when we needed them. Our room was opened without a notice when we were away and the door was left open. We saw that when we arrived in the evening.

Liked: This was a great family-friendly hotel! Very cute and fun for the kids. Pretty spacious rooms for Japan and everything was very clean.

Disliked: The check in process was less than ideal. It took almost an hour to get checked in, which was difficult with jet lagged children. But they provided a shuttle to the building with our hotel room in it, so that was nice. The mattresses on the bunk beds were very thin and uncomfortable so no one slept well on those, and none of the curtains stayed up in the room because all of the cords were broken so we got no natural light in our room.

Liked: Kids loved the room and play areas. It has a lot of toiletries and the beds were comfortable. Most importantly, 2 minute walk to train station and adjacent to tons of food options being in a quiet neighborhood.

The check-in location is by Kyoto Station and different to the actual accommodation which is an important detail, which was not that clear when booking, I only noticed when reading another review - that said it was quite easy. The room was fun for the kids and they loved it. We had a Sea Room and it was a little tight for 2 adults and 2 kids with our luggage, but it worked for 5 nights. Our kids enjoyed the interactive wall at the entrance and the climbing wall and playhouse on either floor. We used the laundry which was super easy and efficient. We loved the location and neighborhood. Great quiet residential area with good bakeries and ramen places. We also spent time at the nearby park which had a good playground at the far end. Value for money it was good and we would consider it again.
