“Good low cost place to stay in west downtown Toronto.”
Liked: The location across from the park and close to good shops and restaurants. It was very clean.
Disliked: The lack of a dresser or even a surface on which to open a suitcase. The clothes hanging rail above a coffee counter. We never figured out the TV and it didn’t fully face the bed in any case.

“Great location, good accommodations, has potential.”
Liked: The location of the property was really centralized. I liked there was a table for eating and working, small but it fit the space. I liked the full length mirror near the door and the wireless charging on the night stand, the light on the nightstand was cool also, great for a nightlight. I appreciated that there was AC.
Disliked: When I arrived, I was using my portal to get me into the building and room, but the code that was on my portal was incorrect. I had to find the email that had the correct code. After 2 nights, I realized that my phone and watch weren’t charging when they were plugged in on the outlets near the window. It would charge when I plug it at night, but when I woke up, it wasn’t charging anymore. I would move the charger to another outlet, it would work for a short period and then stop working again. That was a little frustrating, I’m so glad I had a battery pack. There was no microwave in the room nor was there a community microwave so I had to eat my left over food cold. The mirror in the bathroom appeared to have the same kind of lighting on the nightstand, but it never worked. Thankfully there was enough overhead lighting. The motion detector for the light that illuminated room 202 was near the stairs, so you’d walk through the hall in the dark until you walked up the stairs.

“Great location in Queen st West. Modest but convenient hotel.”
Liked: Great location across a park, many little restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby. Plus a grocery store right in the corner.
Disliked: Really bad quality toilet paper. The shower didn't have a place to put the shampoo or soap. Nobody was at the lobby during the day.

“Acceptable”
Liked: Thank you for accommodating us at Plush. We would like to make a couple of comments that would help future visitors. 1 There should be a 2nd bedside table (even if it’s just a narrow shelf) for cellphone and lamp, with cell charging facilities. 2 Hooks in a bathroom help keep clothing dry. The towel rack isn’t big enough to accommodate both, so dry clothes get wet 3 Hangers were placed over a shelf holding the kettle and mugs. Please give hangers room for clothing to actually hang 4 No coffee was offered, only tea. Most people prefer a choice. 5. Please have the restaurant post actual opening hours. The outside sign claims they were open late, but we were there just after 20:00 and they were closed. Also the restaurant was not open early enough for coffee or breakfast as stated. Your hotel is quite unique, and very convenient for getting around downtown. We hope these comments will enhance the experience for visitors.

“Shocked by how little they offer their guests. I wouldn’t refer to the establishment as a hotel, respectfully. It’s a pl”
Liked: Location.
Disliked: * Lack of staff/support: Little to no staff onsite, making it essentially self-service. * Luggage: No secure luggage storage; bags can be left in an open lobby. No assistance or recommendations for nearby storage. * Extra fees: Optional housekeeping costs $40/day, while room-service delivery from the connected restaurant costs an additional $5/order. * Pest/cleanliness concerns: Rat traps are present throughout the property, including inside guest bedrooms. The room faced a garbage area and had recurring flies. * Ventilation: Very limited ventilation, relying primarily on a small bathroom exhaust fan. * Security: The property connects to a restaurant/bar, with the connecting door reportedly left open. People can enter from the street and access the hotel area without meaningful security or staff oversight. Neighborhood is central is good, but also rough around the edges.
