“Cheap and Clean”

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bathrooms are newly renovated. They have a guest laundry that is free. The place is a little rundown and outdated but for what you pay it is reasonable.

Liked: The location was handy for where we needed. The room was tidy and clean once away from the main area.

Disliked: Unfortunately the vibe and cleanliness of the motel was off putting right from when I walked in. The smell and filth of reception and main motel part was disgusting. The carpark and stairs to enter motel were worse. The restaurant in the centre of the motel which is advertised looks to not have been operating for ages and with the cleanliness and smell I can understand why.

Liked: It was convenient for where we wanted to be.

Disliked: It was not suitable to have a meal in the room, no cutlery. There was also not enough glasses, cups etc for the 3 people booked into the room. We also had to replenish the tea/coffee etc with our own supplies.

“Great value for money, situated in a quiet neighborhood”

Liked: Loved that it was close to the location that we needed to be at early the next morning. Also, despite the hotel being an old building, I liked that the bathroom was renovated to be modern. Extra pillows and blankets in the room made our stay comfortable.

Disliked: We had trouble connecting the TV to wifi so was unable to use Netflix or other viewing apps. However, it was not such a big deal during our stay as we preferred to watch the awarding of the Brownlow Medal event which was streamed through a local TV channel.

Liked: It was clean and beds were comfortable. It was close enough to the place we were going to.

Disliked: It would be good if the restaurant was still open making. We walked past it and such a shame that such a nice restaurant wasnt functional.

“We would probably come back”

Liked: Building is old and in need of refurbishing. I think we were the only people staying there. The room was large, tidy and clean.

Disliked: This was once a grand hotel but it is now a shadow of its former glory.
