Quality Inn Johnson City I-26 exit 17

Disliked: We arrived to check in around 11:15 PM, exhausted and ready for bed. Unfortunately, what followed was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. After receiving our room key, we walked into a room that hadn't even been cleaned. No sheets on the bed, cleaning supplies on the counter, and bedding piled on the desk. I immediately returned to the front desk, only to be told that the woman who had checked me in just 10 minutes earlier had already left for the night. They initially offered to contact housekeeping, then informed me housekeeping was unavailable. There were also no other double-bed rooms available. By now, it was nearly midnight, and my husband, teenage son, and I just wanted to sleep. The only alternative offered was one king-size bed for all three of us to share. Desperate, we reluctantly accepted. Unfortunately, the 2nd room was just as bad. The comforter was covered in stains, a light fixture was disassembled w/ screws scattered across the desk, toothpaste and grime covered the sink and mirror, and the curtain was literally duct-taped to the wall. As if that weren't enough, the keycard reader on the exterior entrance door was being held in place w/ tape. At that point, I'd had enough. I returned to the front desk to cancel our stay and request a refund, only to be told they couldn't issue one and I'd have to return the next day to speak with a manager. So, after midnight, with my family exhausted, I was left scrambling to find another hotel. Thankfully, I found one down the street, and we finally got to bed around 1 AM. What frustrated me most wasn't just the unacceptable condition of both rooms, but the complete lack of a reasonable solution. We were given two rooms that were clearly not ready for guests, offered an unsuitable sleeping arrangement, and then denied an immediate refund. Cleanliness and basic customer service should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this hotel failed at both.

Disliked: Saw roaches there,was not clean stains on the bedspread.alot of hoodlums outside yelling and slamming doors late at night.wont be back

Disliked: The bedding on the beds has stains on them. The booking said queen size bed was more like twin. At booking there was no King size available. The breakfast food was not hot or empty items.

Liked: The manager. Was very professional and kind. He even hunted us down a deck of cards on a stormy day( we didn't want to leave the hotel).The breakfast was good. P.S. Cracker Barrel is right next door!!!

Liked: Closeness to our venue.the room felt not clean

Disliked: The room was not that clean. Bathroom was not clean. Lot of activity around even @ midnight when we got there. Not much of a choice for parking. Lady couldn't check us in because she couldn't get in to the computer system. Took 30 mins. To check in. Will not use this motel again.
