Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago

Liked: Staff was good -- courteous and thorough

Disliked: Our room flooded.... like, really flooded, with the toilet exploding. While those sorts of things happen, there wasn't a lot of recognition that it was not inconvenient, but really, really gross.

Liked: It was nice and clean accommodations. Friendly staff. They had luggage storage.

Disliked: the restaurant/bar closed so early. when making reservations I picked a room with a tub but didn’t get one. When to the front desk to ask about a room with a tub and they gave us a different room. The new room still didn’t have a tub.

Liked: Lisa (supervisor) does a great job, without her we would cancel the reservation. Our room was dirty, the second room was also dirty.

Disliked: Dirty rooms. Unfriendly lady at the front desk. old equipment.

Liked: Nice Views

Liked: The location was nice, quick walk to North Michigan Ave and River walk. The restaurant staff was nice, but why did it take 20 minutes to get a to-go grilled cheese?

Disliked: The lighting in room was terrible! The tray of room service food stayed outside our door for the full three days we were there. The restaurant took 20 minutes to prepare a grilled cheese that was to go.... The front desk staff at check in was dry and short, not offering any information and not interested in our questions about the facilities.

Liked: Anna,(Receptionist) and the Concierge were great, the Hotel is nice! The room had good pressure and hot water in the shower.

Disliked: Ehh. I didn't expect to be in such a tiny space. This room required me to dust!! The coffee maker didn't get used it was dusty, the End tables and the top of the bed were dusty. I did have clean sheets and towels however.

Liked: Location and valet staff

Disliked: I was upcahrged 50 dollars for hour ealry checking in and rooms were available

Liked: Location was ok.

Disliked: I was told the pool and hot tub outside were open but outside hot tub was covered. WAY too much chlorine in the indoor hot tub. Everyone had burning eyes. Its a pretty over priced hotel for the quality of the accommodations. Kind of a weird tub in the room. Water only came to above my knees.
