Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool

Standard, as you would expect. Nice fella on reception.

Spacious room offering a modern structure, but look closer the bathroom had a smell brown on areas around the bath and when I got up in the night a silver skin running along the floor. The bed was well used with a dip in the centre which gave me a bad back and 2 pillows, yellow in colour with large stains on them. Not very appealing after all. Glad just a night but the location was handy for the passport office.

Liked: Everything. Location was great. Lovely staff. Bed was huge and super comfy. Toiletries were on point. Super clean. Great stay. 50 meters from supermarkets for snacks/drinks.

Disliked: Decor and atmosphere. The bar, incorporated the restaurant and breakfast area. Flow in this area was poor. Menu was sparse and signs around the building that no cash was held in the hotel, raised concerns about security. I thought the hotel was in the process of going out of business due to the spareness of the reception area. The free water in reception, had two trays, one for clean glasses and one for used glasses. The glasses hadn’t been changed in a few hours even after informing the staff.

Liked: Nice hotel with new room. The shower is moderate, not strong but not too weak like many other hotels. The staff is nice and very helpful, impressive.

Disliked: The parking is a bit far from the hotel and costly, may not comfortable if you plan to leave and re-entry many times in day. The location is moderate, can walk to the dock and Liverpool one in few mins but couldn’t say it’s closed.

loved the design of the foyer - open to the roof. Room very nice. Only issue was breakfast buffer, it wasn't busy (Sunday 9:15am) but most cooked item trays were empty, as was the fresh fruit and even the orange juice urn was block and didn't dispense. Took about 15 mins for buffet to be restocked but this left a very poor experience and as we had limited time we were not able to enjoy breakfast - one of the most anticipated aspects of a hotel stay.
