Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hoofddorp

We were genuinely impressed by this hotel. Everything felt modern, stylish, and luxurious, almost like staying in a 5-star property. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and looked either brand new or recently renovated. The bathroom was equally impressive: modern, spacious, and equipped with all the essentials, including shampoo, shower gel, and plenty of hot water. The bed was incredibly comfortable, honestly one of the best hotel beds we've ever slept in! Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a huge variety of delicious options, including eggs, bacon, sausages, breads, fruit, and vegetables. Everything was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. One thing to note though: the hotel is located in the middle of a business district, so there aren't any restaurants or shops within walking distance. However, there's a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away with direct connections to Schiphol Airport and Hoofddorp city center, which makes getting around very easy.

Liked: Room was super clean and the restaurant had nice food. You dont hear planes flying over and rooms are air-conditioned.

Disliked: Amenities like soap (which was only availably in refillable pots) was reachable in shower but was empty. Coffee facilities had basic stirrers not decent spoons. I got a cardboard coaster (see photo) that said ‘compliments from Radisson Rewards’ - i assume this used to be a free bottle of water, however there was nothing on top the coaster. There is no shuttle to and from hotel - google seems to still think there is. And not as easy as everyone had mentioned. I had to walk in pouring rain to bus stop up a big flight of stairs! Not easy with 2 suitcases. Check-in very impersonal. No reception to welcome me inside after my long walk to hotel in rain, just a check- in machine. The same for checkout so you cant ask it about the facilities like the gym or restaurant. View was also nothing spectacular. Also they have sound proofing i could still hear my neighbour snoring through the walls. Tried taking a photo but lens was covered in water from the rain.

The room was clean and the location was very accessible to public transport. The staff was super friendly especially the receptionist I talked to! Plus the restaurant was really cosy and nice. Would recommend without a doubt.

Liked: The hotel was absolutely lovely! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the lady at the reception (I believe she was the manager) was especially kind and lovely. Everything was perfect, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again! ❤️ room 4040😜🙏
