Radisson Hotel Schaumburg

Liked: was ok

Disliked: TV didn't work no Wi-Fi in room

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: The front desk people were rude and the property was old and smelled. There were also Prostitutes working the lobby. Totally GROSS

The location was a real highlight — a beautiful, quiet suburb setting that made for a pleasant stay overall. That said, a few things fell short of what I'd expect from a Radisson property. The bathroom didn't have a wash basin inside — a surprising layout choice. The one available elsewhere was also clogged, which suggests the plumbing isn't being checked regularly. The elevator was outdated — buttons were stuck and the floor numbers weren't displaying properly, which made it a bit of a hassle getting around. The facility had a noticeable smell throughout, which wasn't addressed during our stay. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. Items were limited and not restocked promptly — guests were visibly grabbing extra portions because they knew items wouldn't be replenished once gone. The breakfast area itself also wasn't kept to a hygienic standard, which is a concern for a food service area. Overall, a great location let down by maintenance and housekeeping gaps that need attention.

Liked: It was nice pretty clean friendly staff beautiful establishment

Disliked: One of the hallway stinker like anything (probably due to non functional AC)The common toilets were not cleanedBreakfast area was not getting refreshed appropriately Breakfast was not a full breakfast areaThese are definitely not Radisson standards

Liked: Convenient location

Disliked: The floors were dirty. The elevator was out of order so I had to use the stairs to get to my room. There was a family occupying the meeting area when I arrived at 4:00 PPM and they were still there at 10:00PM and their little kids were running around the hallway. The hallway was dimly lit. Inside the room, the sink stopper was broken so I actually had to use the bathtub water to brush my teeth. The television was useless with no way to watch local channels, only movie apps. the attendants constantly talked to each other in a foreign language creating a delay checking in. Overall it was a terrible experience. I stayed at this same hotel one year ago and it was a far different experience.

I'm a truck driver so I go to hotels often and this by far is the best hotel for the value it is more like a 3-star hotel than any of the other three star hotels I've been to the staff is friendly the rooms are clean and modern I would definitely recommend it to anybody traveling

Disliked: The location was great, many restaurants and shopping near by
