“Stay at Ramada hotel near Beijing airport”

Very big and spacious room. Double Queen size beds. Big bathroom/toilet. Room is clean. Carpet looks a bit old though. We had 1 night stay here before leaving Beijing at 5:30am the next morning. Hotel provides hourly free airport shuttle van service.

“Dated hotel for layover”

Nothing great, if you just need a bed and shower for your flight, then it is ok. Shuttle provided run hourly, but the vehicle is so old that it might break any time on the bumpy road. The journey to airport took almost 30min, which is not much different from taking a didi from city during off peak.

Liked: The room size is amazing, very spacious. Same is the bathroom. Sleepers, robes and dental kits provided. The bed is enormous. The breakfast is phenomenal. So much variety. The staff members were also nice the hotel shuttle is great

Disliked: The AC wasn’t available. I was told by the staff that due to the cooler weather the hotel switched to natural cooling system - the windows - and air conditioning was no longer available. Now let’s don’t forget it’s the airport hotel located next to a busy road. So it’s very noisy from both cars and planes. To what they advised that there are ear plugs provided. Great. It was 27C (80F) in the room all night long with the windows open. Suffocating! They did offer lighter blanket that i took and… ice! I guess that’s natural cooling as well…

“Perfect for a 12 hour layover.”

Not really much to say, we booked this one as just a quick resting place during our 12 hour layover on our long haul back to Europe. Friendly staff, huge room, very clean and good amenities. A bit far from the airport, but they provide free shuttle service.

“Overpriced cheap hotel near the airport”

Liked: - Staff speaks English very well - Staff eager to help - Location is close to the airport - There is a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. - Spacious (a bit grotesque yet someone may like it)

Disliked: - clogged bathtub drain - bathroom was somewhat dirty - airpot is too close: you can hear the noise of departing aircrafts very well - no info on the wifi settings in the room -- you have to ask staff (they had answered on the booking.com very fast, though) - the shower head is leaking - overall vibe of low-cost hotel - price was differs from booking one. difference was small so I didn't really cared but, given all disadvantages I've described before I've certainly didn't liked it.
