“Disappointing service and hotel”

Liked: Big room. Good bath abd shower.

Disliked: The manager was rude on arrival and when I told him that I found it unfair that when you book through booking.com, you have to pay £5 per day, whereas if you book directly, you dont pay anything. The manager said 'what do you want me to do about it'. Nobody greets you at the desk either morning or evening. We stayed for 7 days and even though we hung a 'clean room', there were two days that they didnt clean at all. We ran out of toilet rolls! Lifts were dirty and never got cleaned. My partner is disabled, and when she asked for help with 2 suitcases, they told her 'we dont do that at this hotel.' Would not stay there again.

“Good value always”

Liked: On my way back from a visit to Leicester. The location was perfect. Good facilities including petrol station and coffee atnd hot choc at the bar. Nice tikka masala and chicken pasta for dinner and excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff throughout!

Disliked: Minor misunderstanding because I arrived on a Sunday and was told brealfast was till 11am whereas it was till 10am on Monday morning. Fortunately was still able to have it though arrived a few minutes late after 10am. Heating/aircon not working properly in Rm 210 bit weather was mild so not a real problwm on the day but could be in extreme weather

“Some positive things and some things that could be better.”

Liked: Easy to get to if you are careful to use the correct sat nav route

Disliked: Although clean the were some issues with the Room, window would not open, air con would only heat but a fan was provided, sink tap only ran warm or hot water, Staff did their jobs but did not seem happy. Food and drink was good.
