Ramada Plaza by Wyndham West Hollywood Hotel & Suites

It was conveniently located near Sunset Boulevard. The parking fee was high, but I felt it was understandable given the location. The hotel itself was a bit old, but I think the cleaning was well done. The staff members were also very friendly! However, the walls were thin, and I could often hear the voices of the neighbors and footsteps from the floor above, which was a drawback. It gives the impression that there are many gay people in the area. In the morning, I was woken up by sounds coming from the neighboring room. Having a bathtub was very helpful.

Disliked: The room and bathroom were very dirty. Mold on the shower wall and ceiling, hair on the beds. Internet was terrible. Very loud all night and construction started very early. Construction gear in hallways for a room being renovated. Unexpected 50$ a night parking

Disliked: I believe I booked a nonsmoking room, but it smelled as though someone had smoked in it. There was also constant hallway traffic throughout the night, with people talking loudly and being disruptive. In addition, I could hear people walking around in the room above me until approximately 4:00 a.m. These issues made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep, and I was disappointed with my stay.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I asked for my room to be clean daily however every single day even on the day we checked in. I would see fake eyelashes in the room. I found it in the bathroom, floors, vanity table AND ON MY BED! I was so shocked to see this especially since I asked to have my room cleaned. Now I wonder did they even clean my room properly? At checkout, the front desk attendant did not even ask how my stay was. He literally said thanks bye. Could someone please get back to me regarding about this issue and what they could compensate. It is ridiculous that as a guest I need to deal with these issue when I’m on holiday and all I want is a clean room.

We felt so safe as overseas travellers in this location of West Hollywood. The staff were super friendly on check-in and during the rest of our stay. The rooms are older and we did not have a view but they had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There are no restaurants on site but it is a short walk to the shake shack and other dining options. There is a convenient coin operated laundry, vending machine and ice maker on every level and the lifts were super quick with no queuing. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a central location to all the tourist spots and will stay here if we visit again.

Liked: The location was good. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit.

Disliked: The buildings and overall property felt quite old and dated, especially considering the price. The toiletries and bath towels also felt extremely old and worn, which made the stay feel less comfortable. Parking was expensive and added significantly to the overall cost. While the location and staff were good, I would not choose to stay here again because the overall condition of the property did not feel worth the price. With better research beforehand, I believe I could have found a Hyatt or Hilton property in a similar price range with better overall accommodations.
