Rawls Motel Near Phoenix Airport

Liked: Nothing

Liked: The room was kinda nice. Roomy. Shower not bad..

Disliked: They yelled at me for making a reservation online. They wanted to me to pay them and in cash. They did not want to pay the percent to the hotel app companies. Unethical and illegal. They also gave me the wrong room number and unfortunately it was already occupied. It was very disturbing for me and the naked hotel guest who had that room. They are racist and were very misogynistic to my wife. Rawls is also apart of Regency motel. They need to be audited

Liked: Very clean. Completely bed.

Liked: This is the same owner of the American executive so you kind of get the same things but for staff wise and property upkeep it's a lot better

Disliked: The manager that runs the place is ignorant rude and not just professional he makes up prices for a different people

Liked: The building looked nice from the outside.

Disliked: The room smelled like cigarettes, everything was super dirty, the pillows were dirty, the towels were dirty, stains on the floor, and roaches in the kitchen area. The guy at the front desk tried to charge us $120 per night, after we told him that we could easily stay at the best Western or a Hilton for that amount, he went down to $100. Then we told him that we saw $72 on booking.com. He still tried to charge us $92, he said we would need to pay some kind of commission. I then told him that I will book it on booking.com and that’s what I did, in the end I paid $82 online and he still tried to charge us an extra $10 at the counter. Just crooks. We made the big mistake to not look at the room. Definitely not recommended, these guys do not care about their place or about the well-being of their guests. Very disappointing!

Liked: What did I like was I was able to sleep in a bed instead of sleeping in my truck S10 pickup truck being 6 ft tall and sleeping in a S-10 pickup truck it's like putting a crab in a sardine can

Disliked: What I didn't like was I set it up through booking.com and I get told one price and then when I get there I got to pay an extra $23 more
