Sonesta Miami Airport

Liked: Location from airport and close to cruise port

Checking in was smooth. Staff very pleasant and professional. Hotel shuttle an available. Close proximity to airport. Very clean hotel. Will definitely return next time heading to Miami

Liked: We stayed in deluxe king for one night pre cruise. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was modern and clean, shower was a little under powered. Large room allowed easy laying out of all the suitcases to rearrange for the next day going the Miami cruise port. We arrived late to the hotel but just managed to grab dinner in the restaurant, which was good, large portions just what we needed after a long flight. Breakfast was part of the deal, good variety of hot and cold dishes.

Disliked: We used the hotel shuttle which was a little of a hit and miss. There is a tracker on the shuttle bus which did eventual help, first time round it passed us by as it was full. Instructions could have been clearer to describe the sequence of stops. We could have then made our way directly to the first stop point to avoid this, we came out and stood at one which was near the last point but not the last number which was a bit confusing. Also only 1 bus was running but the tracker showed 3 sitting at the hotel, maybe this was because of the later evening timing.

Liked: Location. Welcoming staff, room and facilities.

Disliked: Felt the lady on breakfast had attitude.. could do with further training.

Liked: It’s a good choice for an overnight stay to catch a flight the next day since the property is close to the airport. They also offer a shuttle service which is available every 20 minutes to the airport. Room is clean and comfortable. Service was good.

Disliked: Everything was good

Disliked: Noise next door at 3 am from arriving airline crew.

Liked: The comfort and the cleanliness

Disliked: pretty far from center

Very clean, lovely bedrooms. Pool was out of action which was disappointing but could use the hotel pool next door Breakfast was a bit meh, buffet food more a miss than hit, food not hit. Ordered off the main menu but still not great and staff quite rude. I would stay again as close to airport and very clean
