“Great stay. Great property.”

Liked: Great location walkable to old town Verona and Roman Ruins. Don’t follow Apple Maps to hotel. Use Google or just follow signs. Gorgeous property with lovely service. Very nice rooms with views of Verona. Spectacular. Be prepared for a decent uphill walk back to hotel from town, 15-20 min, or you can take an UBER for $20 or so.

Disliked: The facility charges corkage on any private wine you open, even if you drink it in your room or outside watching sunset. Minor but annoying and not something we saw at any other property during our month in northern Italy.

“Excellent hotel for Verona stay.”

Liked: Beautiful location/views. Very friendly/obliging staff. Excellent breakfasts and lunch around pool if needed. Short distance from airport.

Disliked: Easy walk "down" into city centre. More challenging walk "back up", but local taxi service is very prompt and you can't have such beautiful views from the hotel without the elevation. So not a problem; only a consideration!
