Residenza Madonna Verona

Liked: Very friendly and helpful person who met us on arrival, Lots of room in the apartment, comfy and quiet, excellent central location. There's also an excellent bakery next door- perfect for breakfast and lunch.

Disliked: Residenza Madonna Verona contains several apartments, and it was quite difficult from the listing to work out which one we'd actually be staying in (I thought the one we'd chosen had a view into the adjacent square, but it didn't, and it was a bit dark). Our apartment was self-catering, but the kitchen could have been better equipped with basics (we were missing a sharp knife, any bowls, and a cheese grater)

Liked: Excellent location and the person who let us in was very kind.

Disliked: It was very hot and the air conditioning was not turned on when we arrived and it took about 6 hours to cool the place down to a reasonably comfortable range. But we were never able to make the apartment truly cool enough, as the AC unit seemed to be undersized for the apartment. The layout was very odd with almost no windows and many steps and old furniture and peeling paint in the bathroom and there was no fan to help provide air movement in the sleeping area, which was quite isolated from the air conditioning unit. We would not ever rent this apartment again.

Liked: The host met us with the keys and gave a thorough explanation of the property on arrival. She was very kind. We stayed just one night for the opera but I am very familar with Verona and I was surprised to get such a great location, at a very reasonable price. The location is spectacular, off of one of the main piazzas with a great view on all the goings on below, and centrally located to everything. My niece and I really enjoyed the apartment and I would definitely come back.

Liked: Great place!

Liked: The location is amazing, but the actual apartments could use some work. There was mold is a few places and over all smelled very damp. The WiFi only worked for a few hours and very slow. The host over all was amazing and very helpful

Liked: Super large apartment right in the center. The host was extremely friendly and explained in the detail all that we needed to know.

Liked: The location was perfect. Everything is near by.
