It was nice and neat. The breakfast was also good. However, parking was quite difficult. If there are those without parking spots, there's the Paldang Health Center? Please navigate to the nearby health center for parking. The surrounding area is very expensive, but the health center is about a 10-minute distance and costs 10,000 won for daily parking. I received a 50% discount for parking, so it was 5,000 won for me.

A satisfying stay with good value. location was nice and clean.

Hotel Restia is ideally located close to Suwon station where you can take a high speed train KTX or two subway lines. The UNESCO heritage site Suwon fortress is just a short bus ride. There’re a lot of restaurants and bars as well as little shops and Daiso where you can get all the necessities for your daily life. The room’s cleanliness was acceptable and there’s a floor heating system(ondol) that remains warm for hours for just turning it on for a couple of hours. Water pressure and temperature were great. There’s a luggage storage and a kiosk for check-in in the lobby, along with extra water bottles, towels, and a microwave. We had breakfast(2nd floor in the main building) next morning since we had an early train ride to Busan and it’s the highlight of the stay. There’s salad, salmon salad, eggs, marinated pork(Jeyook), Korean side dishes, two kinds of soup, rice, bread, fruits, o.j, milk, and coffee. Later a rosé pasta was served as well. I’d stay at Hotel Restia again when I’m in Suwon station area.

Make sure you are in time for parking, its first come first serve or you will have to go for paid parking.

Room is wide, beautiful & cleaned. It's located a bit away from the crowds. Foods, bars, clubs are easy to find around. The metro is also reachable by walking distance for few minutes. Cheap taxi fees for going to the ancient fortress as it's not so far from the hotel. I like the breakfast too, it's a small breakfast corner that provide you the various of choices as a buffet and it's all delicious 😋 The check in experience is easy and fast via self check in kiosk ( no reception counter ) The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is the toilet with the see through glass door and wall, and it's a bit small.
