“rest”
The place is clean, and the staff is enthusiastic. Even when I arrived at 5 AM, they woke up happily to assist. The view overlooks the river and the wharf, and it's conveniently close to the market for easy access.

Family of 5, 4 adult 1 child. Very clean and close to market and everything. Staff very friendly and polite. Only backdraw was the power outage we had for an hour

“Very good experience at River Hotel.”
The room is very clean and worth the cost spent during this holiday. The reception staff and security guards are all very enthusiastic and friendly, providing quick and timely assistance when I forgot my belongings.

“Should edit the customer.”
1/The reception area needs to be decorated with greenery. 2/The guest slippers must have a cover. 3/The window overlooking the river is obstructed by a horizontal aluminum bar... blocking the view; the design is not very refined. 4/The prices are higher compared to nearby hotels.

“Okay but a bit tired”
Just a one night stop and it was fine for that, but we had to move rooms because the birds were so loud and the second one was very small and missing the telly from the bracket and just a used shower gel for hand soap. Didn't mind it here but we will try somewhere else when we're next passing through.

“Short stay”
Nice rooms and good location. There isn’t an onsite restaurant but many choices within a few minutes walk. Front desk staff was helpful and kind. Bed was comfortable. The hot water was ok one day and non existent the next. For the money it is a good place to stay.

“Acceptable”
Liked: The staff are friendly and try to be helpful
Disliked: The building needs a complete renovation. Our sink leaked on the floor. Our door lock worked every 4th try. Roaches in the bathroom. Restaurant was closed for renovation. Pool was a filthy disgusting mess.

“Good river view”
We stayed at a hotel in Ha Tien that was once considered the best in the city, but unfortunately it now feels dated and in need of further investment to bring it up to modern standards. The facilities and overall appearance reflect an earlier era, and some upgrades would make a significant difference. While the rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was strong and effective, the service did not meet expectations. The staff would benefit from additional training, particularly in being more helpful, proactive, and supportive toward guests. Another downside was the noise from nearby swallow nesting houses, which could be quite disruptive at times and affected the overall comfort of the stay. With several newer hotels now available in Ha Tien, this property no longer stands out as it once did. With renovation, improved staff training, and a more forward-looking approach, it could regain its former reputation, but at present it is no longer the top choice in the city.
