“Hotel parking issues”
There was plenty of free parking space, but cones were placed to block it off so you couldn't park — unclear who they were reserving it for. When I tried to park under the building they blocked the entrance. I don't understand: how can a hotel open without available parking? The valet/parking attendant spoke and behaved rudely. The housekeeping staff and front desk were excellent — very nice, polite, and friendly.

“The room for 3 people is very big and clean.”
Booked two room types: a triple room and a standard double. The triple room was very large and had a hot soaking tub — so comfortable and relaxing — but the shower didn’t have an adjustable water heater, so you couldn’t change the temperature yourself. The double was a typical standard room. I really liked the cleanliness. The hotel isn’t new, but they keep it very well maintained and clean. There’s a Central department store opposite, plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s close to the community area. I ordered from 7-Eleven around 9 PM and the delivery arrived. One issue was check-in: you have to check in at the new building and go through an outstand process, which wasn’t made clear. We had to walk in to ask which building to use; if you don’t know and walk to the wrong building, you’ll have to come back. Fortunately they have a golf cart shuttle to take you, but they really should inform guests in advance. Overall it wasn’t bad.

“Third break but still have to meet 3, huh 🧐 — Things you should know before booking.”
Third stay but still several “hmm”s I’d like the hotel to fix This was my third time staying here, and I’ll admit this visit started off with a poor impression as soon as I drove in. I want to share my experience for people planning to book, especially out-of-towners who might not realize the hotel has multiple buildings that use different names. 1. Parking — Hmm #1 🧐 When I arrived I saw the area in front of the building full of cars, so I slowly drove around looking for a space. A security guard waved me on, saying there were no spots. I was going to park in the lot by the pump in front of the old building, but then I remembered last time I parked at the back under the building, which I thought was the parking nearest the rooms, so I looked again. It turned out that a car that came after me was directed by the security guard to park in front of the building, even though earlier I had been told it was “full.” Hmm #1 🧐 — If there are still parking spaces, there should be clearer rules for directing cars. 2. Checked in at one building but stayed in another — Hmm #2 🧐 Before this stay I called to ask which building my reservation was in. The staff clearly told me to check in at Building 3. When I arrived I parked under that building and dragged my luggage into Building 3 to check in. After checking in I was then told my room was in Building 2. This raises the question: if they already knew I would be staying in Building 2, why didn’t they tell me when I called so I could park and bring my luggage to the correct building from the start? Hmm #2 🧐 — The information given when booking/checking before arrival did not match what I was told at check-in. 3. Key card didn’t work — Hmm #3 🧐 When I first entered the room the housekeeper had left it open, so I didn’t use the key card to open the door and instead used the housekeeper’s card inserted inside. Around 9 p.m. I went out and when I returned the key card could not open the door. I called the staff and had to wait for maintenance to come check; it turned out the key card hadn’t been updated. From the time I called to when it was fixed took about 15–20 minutes. For guests arriving back at night, this shouldn’t happen, especially since this is a basic system that should be confirmed ready at check-in. Hmm #3 🧐 — Checked in but the key card wasn’t activated. --- Importantly, this was not my first visit — it was my third. On previous stays I’d had different experiences with which building I was assigned. - 1st stay — parked and checked in at the first building, then was told to stay in Building 3 - 2nd stay — checked in at Building 3 but was given a room in Building 4 - 3rd stay — called ahead to ask which building my reservation was in and was told to check in at Building 3, but was ultimately given a room in Building 2 I didn’t make a big deal of the first two times because I assumed it might be due to room allocation, and since the hotel names all start with “The River” I understood they might be related buildings under the same brand. But after the same thing happened a third time I reviewed my booking and past stays to understand which name referred to which building. From my experience the layout seems to be roughly: - River Hotel The Outstanding Venues — River 3, the middle building facing the road; currently seems to be the check-in building - River Hotel The Budget — River 2, the older front building with the entrance facing the Shell gas station - River Nakorn Prathom — River 1, or in some cases guests are put in River 2 So for guests who aren’t local, I recommend carefully checking the property name and photos on the booking page to confirm which building it is. Don’t just rely on the name “The River,” because it can be misleading and make you think it’s a single hotel or building when there are actually several. The information above is my personal understanding based on my stays, not an official statement. If any of the details are wrong, I’d like the hotel to clarify and provide accurate information so future guests, especially out-of-towners who can’t see the site beforehand, can benefit. Overall I’m not expecting everything to be perfect, but as a returning guest I want clearer information, consistent coordination, and basic systems working at check-in. I’m leaving this review to share my real experience so both future guests and the hotel can take note.

“Excellent”
The accommodation matched the listing. The bathroom shower area was a bit small, but the location is very good. Amenities are complete and there are hair and nail salons.

“River Hotel Nakhon Pathom”
Stayed one night. The room was very nice and clean, with no noise disturbances. The staff were very helpful. Although the system said check-in should be before 22:00, the staff said it was fine to check in after 22:00. 🥰🥰

“Service”
The golf cart only has staff who ignore staying guests; there was no assistance at all with carrying luggage. Guests had to pull their own suitcases and walk by themselves.

“Good location next to the main road, right across from Central Nakhon Pathom.”
This hotel has a fairly large number of rooms and convenient parking. The rooms are very spacious and the air conditioning is super cold. It's not very crowded. You can walk across Phetkasem Road to Central Nakorn Pathom, but note it's a 12-lane road; the hotel sits right at a traffic light. The rooms are reasonably soundproof and comfortable for sleeping. On the hotel grounds there’s a gas station and a car wash; amenities are quite complete. Getting to attractions within the province is fairly easy.
