“A huge decline in the quality”
Liked: Check in.
Disliked: 1. There are not enough outlets in the room. 2. We wondered if the hotel had been sold because we had stayed there several other times, including one visit three months earlier. The prices had gone up greatly, making the whole experience not a good value. 3. We looked forward to having dinner in the restaurant, which we had enjoyed on previous stays. Indoor seating was no longer available, and the outdoor seating was too cold. Prices had increased, and portions decreased. 5. In sum we will not return.

“Mixed experience! Expensive room! Not a good value for your money! Good breakfast through!”
Liked: Second night in a different room. Good breakfast.
Disliked: 1st night! I booked the room with a garden view. But the room for the first night didn't have a garden view. We arrived around 9 pm, so we couldn't look outside. The next morning, I complained, and they moved us to a different room with a good garden view.

“Despite the negatives, we had a nice room with a terrace as requested which we enjoyed very much.”
Liked: The room was clean and freshened every day. Breakfast was good. The pool area is very nice and relaxing. The gardens are very well maintained and a pleasure to walk through.
Disliked: The bathrooms in the room need refurbishment as they are very tired and look quite old. The shower was not stable and as a result water spilt over on to the floor. The shower and shower glass needs upgrading. On one night a rat was seen on the terrace so you may need to consider fumigating the gardens.

“Good stay”
Liked: We had a good stay! We especially loved the beautiful garden, spacious lobby, and elegant decor, which created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The pool service was excellent, making our time by the pool even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Vincenzo for the perfect caipirinha. Overall, a wonderful experience and a great place to stay.
Disliked: The bed mattress was quite hard and we couldn't lower the room temperature below 24°C, making the room warmer than we would have liked. Addressing these points would make the overall guest experience even better.

“Adequate for what we were looking for.”
Liked: The pool area was alright and the pool restaurant was fine.
Disliked: The shower in our room was struggling with temperature control - went from super hot to super cold without touching the controls. The hotel felt a bit dated, but for the price and the location - close to the airport for an early morning flight it was okay.

“Definitely DO NOT STAY at this hotel.”
Liked: Overall nice property however it is very badly maintained and run down. Definitely not 5 stars.
Disliked: The staff at the front desk is extremely rude and incompetent. They lie nonstop, do not care about inquiries nor complaints and then disappear to avoid any assistance.

“Not Five Star”
Liked: The grounds were whimsical and well kept.
Disliked: The property boast a five star rating but it is at best, a two star property. The grounds were well kept but the hotel itself was worn out. The staff was less than friendly and nothing was five star. The only positive is that it is close to the airport. Would not recommend this property.
