“Prime location in Myeongdong”

Royal Hotel was in a prime location to explore Myeongdong for first-timers in Seoul. It's central and provides easy, convenient access to all of the major places like food, coffee shops, olive young, daiso, etc. within walking distance. Room was clean and the staff were great. The room size is cozy and a little smaller than what you would be used to in a US hotel but quality and amenities were great (free wifi, water, laundry facilities). There were some guests who broke the rules and smoked so our hallway smelled like smoke (and the hotel can enforce the nonsmoking rules), but our room did not smell like smoke. There were a few mosquitoes that probably followed us into the rooms from outside. It was a quiet, comfortable environment inside the hotel with lively, bustling activity on the streets. Overall a great experience and I would come again.

“Everything is smart and excellent!”

I have stayed at 5-star hotels like Hyatt and Lotte, but this hotel was my favorite by far. The staff all communicated in perfect Japanese, and I was able to use Japanese electrical appliances without a conversion plug. The sunset from the 21st floor is priceless and wonderful. This is definitely a hotel I want to stay at again next time.

“The location is excellent!”

I was able to leave my luggage before and after check-in, so I could enjoy sightseeing without being weighed down! The location was great, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The hotel was also clean and comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my trip to Korea. The amenities were not very abundant, and it was a bit disappointing that the toothbrush was a paid item, but considering the location and the cleanliness of the hotel, I am generally satisfied.
