Saint Georges Nice

Liked: Nice location, decent breakfast and helpful staff

Disliked: We were put in the attic on the 4th floor. You could only stand up in half the room. There were no windows and the lift, when it worked, only went to the 3rd floor. They knew it was a terrible room as offered us a free breakfast in advance!

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Saint Georges, Nice. The hotel is very conveniently located, and I particularly enjoyed the French-style breakfast with fresh croissants, which was a lovely way to start the morning. A special mention to the lovely lady at the front desk, whose name I believe was Domino. She was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Her warm attitude made a real difference and made me feel very comfortable at the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the location made it very easy to explore Nice. Thank you to the team at Hotel Saint Georges for making my stay in Nice so enjoyable. I would happily stay here again.

Overall the stay was great. Staff were very pleasant, room was made every day with fresh towels. Location is very ideal if looking to travel around (10 minute walk from train station and beach). Very easy to get to from the airport, located just off of the main shopping street in Nice. Room was slightly on the smaller side but suited our stay since we only slept there.

Liked: Good location but lots of noise in the building, hotel decor not great, and the breakfast is really not up to standards (very disappointing).

Disliked: The property always had flies flying at the lobby for the three nights I stayed there. I asked for them to clean the room on the first day when I was leaving the hotel, when I was back at night, I realized they haven’t cleaned the room and when I asked for again the next day, they only left extra towels and just got the dirty towels on the floor but they haven’t cleaned the floors. The bed heading smelled like some type of animal, I think it’s because of it was old leather, but I had to sleep on the other side of the bed because it smelled so strong and disgusting. When I asked for ice for my room, they said they did not have ice and when I asked them when they will have it, they said they will not have it and said that i can go to the market and buy it.

My travel was disrupted due to the US–Iran conflict. I requested refund or at least hotel credit, but this was denied without any solution, or even basic empathy. Extremely disappointing experience. I will not recommend staying here

Excellent location, the room is tidy, and the staff is friendly. The check-in procedure is unsatisfactory; we waited for an hour.
