High level hotel

I booked this stay to relax and I can honestly say it was excellent value for money. The bed was very soft — the moment I walked in I felt comfortable. The staff were friendly and provided a welcome drink; they were cheerful and pleasant. There was plenty of parking. The elevators were quick, the bedroom had a very soft bed and good pillows, and the air conditioning cooled the room well. Snacks and bottled water were provided. On the 12th floor there’s a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a Japanese-style onsen tub. The price wasn’t expensive. The only downside was the food — the dishes were overly salty and not very tasty. The menu leans toward international cuisine; everything was great except for the food.

The property is clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff provide good service. I like the room design — the sink and shower are easy for kids to use. The breakfast selection isn't very large, but there are plenty of desserts and the cakes are delicious. There's a café in the hotel and a small kid club.

Disliked: Positives: The staff were polite and courteous in their interactions, and the room itself was clean and well maintained. The housekeeping team did a good job of keeping the room tidy, and we appreciated the pleasant behaviour of the staff throughout our stay. Negatives: Although this property is rated 5 stars, our experience felt closer to a 3-star hotel at best. The biggest issue was the lack of sufficient staff, which noticeably affected the service quality. For example, we requested a blanket change in the morning, but it was not done. When we followed up again at night, it took another 2 hours for the request to be addressed. The reason given was staff availability issues due to shift timings. For a hotel claiming to offer a 5-star experience, this is disappointing. A hotel of this standard should have adequate staff coverage across shifts to handle basic guest requests promptly. Even the reception staff could not provide a clear estimate of when the request would be completed, which was another letdown. Another major concern was the unpleasant smell in the lobbies on multiple floors. After we brought it to the staff's attention, they repeatedly cleaned and treated the area on our floor with freshening products. While we appreciate that they responded to our complaint, the fact that the issue appeared to affect multiple areas of the hotel suggests a more general housekeeping and maintenance concern. Overall, the service and upkeep did not meet the expectations associated with a 5-star property. Basic requests should not take hours to fulfil, and guests should not have to repeatedly follow up to get them addressed. The hotel needs to improve its staffing, responsiveness, and housekeeping standards to justify its 5-star rating.

Although it's a 5-star hotel, the breakfast selection was neither large nor small—somewhat mediocre in variety—but it tasted good. The pool depth is 160 cm, which felt a bit deep for me. It would have been better if there were facilities suitable for shorter guests like us. Since it's a new building and everything is brand new, overall it was nice.

First of all, being a new property, both the interior and the surroundings are very clean. The room condition goes without saying. However, maybe because we visited during Songkran, getting around was really difficult — even for short trips we waited more than 10 minutes after calling a motorcycle or car. Facilities are excellent! The gym in particular was fantastic.
