Liked: Everything was excellent, from staff, to location, breakfast, pool. Also very clean. Highly recommend.

Liked: The location is amazing close to everything. The hot springs is also great amenity to have. The food was good also

Liked: Nice room, central location - short walk from town center, excellent breakfast, outdoor pools, coffee and tea available all day, friendly and welcoming staff, and complimentary access to the hot springs at their sister property, Volcano Lodge.

Liked: The grounds and pool were lovely. There is a nice view of the volcano. Everything was super clean. We could walk everywhere. The sister property thermal hot springs were amazing. There are great rocking chairs outside of the rooms. The fresh fruit at breakfast was delicious.

Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable and the rooms were dated although very clean. The eggs at breakfast were quite runny, but on our last day we saw someone order an egg from the kitchen. We didn’t know you could do that.

Liked: Rooms were clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A great example of their honesty and service: my son accidentally left his watch in the room, after we checked out and were on the way to SJ, a staff member contacted us and arranged to mail it to us. Gestures like this truly deserve recognition.

Disliked: Room size was more compact than expected.

Liked: nos gusto mucho el desayuno y la ubicacion

Disliked: no nos gusto mucho que el cuarto se escuchaba todo lo del cuarto de la par ya que solo nos separo una pared de madera

Liked: Clean and the staff nice

Disliked: Well the guys that work at the restaurant we’re moving plastic boxes with food for the restaurant out of their truck and they hit my car.. I spoke with the guy at the front desk and he didn’t help at all

Liked: Clean, friendly staff and close by many restaurants and conveniences. Hot springs are definitely a nice “plus”
