“Location Location Location”
We booked through Agoda with no explanation of it being an Airbnb. Homeless sleeping almost to the entrance of the property. We are used to daily cleaning service and not us cleaning for a place that we rent. Shower drainage is clogged and overflowing and no one to report to because we arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning to enjoy the city. Although, I was accommodated on our second night to make payment but there was no instructions on who to contact in case of need. Agoda wanted only email communication which takes a couple of days or longer to get a response.

“Spacious and clean”
This apartment was very spacious and clean. Also, we felt very secure inside the gated apartments. Would definitely stay again.

“Great apartment in a so-so neighborhood. Fine if you have a car or don't mind a longer walk/taxi.”
Liked: The apartments themselves are a real find — brand new, spacious, and spotlessly clean, tucked away in the courtyard of an older building, which gives it a nice quiet/private feel from the street.
Disliked: The only downside is the location: a bit far from the center, and the surrounding neighborhood isn't the nicest, especially at night. Nothing to do with the apartment or host — just worth knowing before you book.

“Clean, comfortable, beautiful, large apartment”
Liked: Clean, beautiful, comfortable, large apartment. Easy to get the keys. Air conditioner was fantastic considering it was so hot outside. great value!
Disliked: Location…. It’s a 45 minute walk to main sites, there is a tram that runs intermittently and only brings you so far. The walk from the train station is ghetto. But being closer to main sites was twice as expensive for half the square footage.

“Exceptional”
Liked: The place is very clean, an island in an overall filthy area. Maria is very kind and attentive, there are easy transportation to the center from via Tiburtina and Tangenziale Est and supermarket Conad is just in front.

“When in Rome… Colosseum first.”
Liked: The location was near the train station, which is what we were looking for. They accommodated our 5-adult party by renting out two units next door to each other. The place was clean and we were still able to have breakfast together. The kitchen was well equipped, and the refrigerator was large enough to keep our water bottles and beverages cold. The main bed was comfortable and the fold out sofa bed was well, what you expect from a sofa bed. It was nice to have a flat screen t.v to stream our apps on. Overall, we would stay here again.
Disliked: If you like to have hot showers, this may not be the place for you. At Borgo San Lorenzo Roma, they monitor or limit the amount of hot water available for use. We only had 3 adults in our place, and the water did not last past the first shower. Also, if you are taller than average, you may have difficulty getting your head under the showerhead.
