“ACCOMMODATING”

There was a problem in my booking - I've paid for my booking through Agoda but in their system, it says that they have cancelled it. Talking to the front desk manager, they told me to contact Agoda and I just landed from a 12-hr travel from Philippines - and they cannot do something about it - it is Formula 1 week and all of the hotels are busy and booked and prices are 3x higher. I was very frustrated that I left the hotel crying as I'm overwhelmed of what happened and jetlagged. Thankfully, one of the bell boy accommodate me when he saw me crying and told me to get back inside and that the hotel general manager will help me - this is my first time in UAE btw. In the end, the general manager accommodated and accompanied me and accepted my booking without any additional fees. I'd like to thank the staff, although the front desk did not full entertain me, I will still give them a good review because they were able to redeem the bad experience I experienced initially.
