Shilla Stay Samsung COEX Center

Overall I’m satisfied with the stay. Staff are very nice and helpful and helped me to switch room to avoid the construction noise on the Main Street. It’s very convenient location and steps away for all the things you need

Our stay at Shilla Stay Samsung coincided with a major underground construction phase. The noise, dust, and constant array of workers and trucks made it challenging to enjoy the location. Other than the COEX mall across the street, there really isn't much else around. The room was tiny with no view. Not only no view, but the curtains did not open and one panel of windows was frosted, leaving the room without any natural light. Claustrophobic. HOWEVER, the bathroom was great for wheelchair/handicapped travelers. Bars and even a tiny seat by the shower were helpful. Spacious bathroom seems to mean tiny rest of the area. The staff was outstanding though. Very helpful and welcoming!

The kids said they had such a great time that they want to go again, hehe. First of all, the location is fantastic and the view is beautiful. The kids love the soft beds, hehe. The hygiene is very clean as well. I saw some reviews saying that the buffet menu was lacking, but I didn't feel that way at all; I was very satisfied. Especially having breakfast with such a wonderful view was amazing!!! To exaggerate a bit, it felt like New York, hehe. I definitely want to try the dinner buffet next time; it seems really great.

An excellent overall stay with outstanding value for money. The location was a major highlight, while the property was consistently clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities added to the convenience and comfort. Everything came together smoothly and making this a place I would gladly recommend. Thank you!

Good Location!

Instead of a birthday gift (mom), we aimed for a family outing to Seoul and chose to stay at Samsung Shilla, which was an excellent choice!^^ Since it was my birthday, the room was upgraded, allowing the whole family to have a comfortable stay. I was really grateful for the simple snacks and drinks provided as a congratulatory gift, which felt very thoughtful! 1. Room condition and hotel: It's located right across from Samsung Coex, so the location is great (although there is currently road construction in that area, which made it a bit chaotic, but that isn't the hotel's fault). The room condition was impeccable—clean and tidy. The lobby, being on the 20th floor, provided a great high-rise view that really captured the city atmosphere. Even photos with the teddy bear turned out beautifully. 2. Buffet restaurant: I recommend it. While the variety isn't huge, the prices are quite reasonable, and the menu consists of neat and delicious dishes just as needed. The coffee is also tasty. The staff is friendly. 3. Considerations: Lower floors do not have a view, so keep that in mind. There’s no inconvenience in using them, but if you value the view, you might want to stay on a higher floor. As it is a stay hotel, there are no sauna or swimming pool facilities. After checking out, there is a machine in the lobby for guests to make a ‘personal room key’ by inserting a photo, which is inexpensive, so be sure to try it! The outcome is lovely^^ It will be a great memory. The outing to Coex Seoul with my child was wonderful^^ Staying at Shilla made the outing much less burdensome and more comfortable. My child read books at the Starfield Library, enjoyed delicious coffee, and dad had a good time shopping. Highly recommended!!

The hotel lobby is on the 21st floor overlooking the area. The guest rooms are on the lower floors. The buffets are tempting but super expensive so didn't opt for them. The location is pretty much directly opposite from the viral Starfield Library and the COEX mall so was great to just walk a very short distance to shop, eat and participate in the mall's events. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which I value a lot. We had reserved a wheelchair friendly room. The room itself is quite small. No room to navigate freely in a wheelchair; however, the bathroom was impressive as it allowed room to move around easily in a wheelchair. We didn't like that it was a wet bathroom with a slow drain. So, be prepared with bathroom slippers to avoid any potential falls.
