Silks Place Yilan Hotel

I brought my son for a staycation and it proved to be a great choice. It’s conveniently located from the Yilan train station and attached the Luna Plaza shopping mall. The mall itself has great food options, as well as a Tom’s World arcade and an Eslite. The hotel itself had wonderful amenities - a spa for the parents, indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. We were also upgraded to a room with 2 roomy king beds. My son loved sleeping in the tent and zooming around the halls in his little car. He also received two stuffies as part of our stay. I do think the rates are quite high, but if you take advantage of the amenities and the convenience, it’s worth it. We will be back again soon!

The room was clean and tidy, the play equipment was safe, well-maintained, and varied, and the staff were very friendly to children. All activities (eating, drinking, and entertainment) can be done inside the hotel, so kids don’t have to go elsewhere. When a child got a minor injury, the staff were well trained and immediately brought disinfectant and bandages — very professional! Highly recommended family-friendly hotel!

We had a wonderful time at Silks Place Yilan Hotel! The place is truly beautiful, we had a lot of fun, and we will definitely come back! This stay was a bit short, so we didn’t have enough time to fully explore the resort — there were many facilities and activities we didn’t get to try. Fortunately, we happened to stay from Saturday night through Sunday morning, so there were lots of fun programs and activities suitable for families and children. We didn’t join the family activities because we chose to go swimming, but the kids had a great time! They loved the pool and all the activities so much they didn’t want to leave. 😂 There’s really a lot worth sharing, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. I have one small suggestion about the children’s activities. The kids got especially excited about the parts where they had to search for things. There was also a hula-hoop activity where the children formed a circle and cooperatively passed the hoop through — it was a lot of fun. I think the activity would be even more exciting if you added a small team competition element for the kids. It could be at the beginning or the end of the session — as long as there’s a group challenge, it would make the activity more interactive and get the children more engaged and excited. The bingo activity was also very fun; my kids loved it! Overall, we had a fantastic time at Silks Place Yilan Hotel. The resort is beautiful and the activities are very family-friendly. Most importantly, the kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. We will definitely come back! ❤️

Disliked: Lack of snacks option with protein.

Good location. Good venue. Kids love the stay.

Fun for the kids, relaxing for the parents. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities and activities were thoughtfully put together. Our kids always have a great time here and ask to come back.
