“Best place to stay near Ortigia/in Siracusa”
Liked: The property itself: One of the best in the area. The pictures do it no justice. There is a lift, air conditioning, nice bathroom, plenty of space, front and back balconies-like this place is nice! The bed is comfortable and the building is peaceful at night. Oh and the wifi is great (I had work to do and had no issues). Also, it is in a great location (restaurants etc…). The walk to Ortigia is comfortable (15 minutes or so) and the archeological ruins are within walking distance (15 minutes). If you do not drive (I didn’t while here) there are buses by the flat but you have to have patience with the schedule. The Property Owners: Donatella is absolutely amazing! She is a real gem. She gives recommendations to area events, food, etc… She also checked in just to say hello/make sure all is well (I was here for an extended time and was a solo traveler). Breakfast items were provided and she was kind to cater to my American taste buds lol. Francesco is hilarious and knowledgeable about everything under the sun. He is also very kind and reliable. If you are ever stuck or need help getting somewhere or want to sight-see he is the guy to call. Oh and wine-listen to his recommendations about wine. Overall: I have travelled a lot and this was the best stay I have ever had. It’s going to be hard to top this one.

“Exceptional”
Liked: The hosts were amazing and there were breakfast items stocked as well and water and wine. Parking was not hard to find so that was a bonus too.

“Dream Apartment and Wonderful Hosts.”
Liked: The BEST apartment we have ever stayed in. Not just for the space and the beautiful decor but for its situation in Siracusa and especially for the fantastic hosts. Extraordinary breakfast also
Disliked: Not a thing. This property has spoiled us!

“Fabulous hosts and darling apartment.”
Liked: Everything you could ever want to choose from for breakfast: eggs, bacon, prosciutto, yogurt, pancakes, sweet rolls, cereals etc. location was within walking distance of many things including Ortigia.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything negative to report.

“Thank you Donatella 🍷”
Liked: Our hosts Donatella and Francesco were very attentive. The apartment was well stocked with our needs plus more. Our hostess took us to a wonderful dinner location and returned us and also provided ride to train. She went above and beyond and was always responsive to any questions we had. Graz ie would definitely recommend for stay in Siracusa.
Disliked: Nothing just as pictured in the booking.com

“The best place to stay in Siracusa!”
Liked: Donatella and Francesco were fantastic hosts! They apartment was charming and in great locations. They provided us with two bottles of prosecco and full kitchen of food and snacks! They recommended us a great local restaurant for a dinner. We will visit them next time when we are in Sicily.
Disliked: Everything was great!

“Exceptional”
Liked: The kitchen was well stocked with food, drinks, and snacks. We had the 1 bedroom apartment to ourselves. The hosts were very kind and gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities.
