Solar Motel Los Angeles

I just wanted to let you know about my experience at this place. When I checked in, different staff members gave me different amounts for the security deposit, ranging from $30 to $40. Agoda didn’t mention the deposit or explain how much it would be. The listing also didn’t say that the room door had no key or proper lock. The door didn’t lock automatically when I went out, and whenever I came back, I had to ask someone at the front desk to open it for me. It was really inconvenient, and I didn’t feel comfortable having to depend on the front desk for my safety and security. The room only had one bar of soap and one towel, which was just a floor mat, so there were no regular towels. I also wasn’t given any information about the Wi-Fi. Overall, these things made my stay very uncomfortable, and I wish I’d known about them before booking. Agoda did not mention that the room door had no key or functioning lock. The door did not lock automatically when I left, and I had to ask the front desk to unlock it whenever I returned. This was extremely inconvenient and left me concerned about my safety and security. The room had only one bar of soap and just one towel, which was a floor mat. No regular towels were provided. I was not given any information about how to access the Wi-Fi. I also never received my security deposit back. The property has my contact information, but no one has contacted me by phone, text, or email about the refund.
