Solara Diamond Hotel Da Nang

Everything was nice, room was clean. Housekeeping knocked every early morning to clean the room. For us it was a bit disturbing. The location is really good. There’s swimming pool on the roof but no roof against sun.

I had a really good stay at Solara, price was on the cheaper side which I loved! Internet was fast, room was really clean and cozy, staff was warm and friendly. My Khe beach is just a very short walk across the road. Very nice hotel, highly recommended!

Room was very basic with no window. Pool on the roof, felt that you had to use a maintenance access to get to it. Breakfast was all asian style with no western options. Bed was comfortable do.

Liked: The location is convenient, within walking distance of the beach and relatively close to the airport. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay.

Disliked: The cleanliness and overall condition of the room were extremely disappointing. The toilet seat had unpleasant stains, and the room did not feel properly cleaned. Our bed felt damp and had a musty smell, while the bedsheets and pillows smelled as though they had not been changed after the previous guest. The shower in mu room also did not have working hot and cold water, leaving me freezing during my morning shower. Even the complimentary razor was so blunt that my father scratched himself while using it, which was particularly concerning. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was limited, and the food was bland. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel on our second day because the options were simply not appealing. Overall, the experience fell far below our expectations. While the location is convenient, cleanliness, comfortable bedding, proper bathroom facilities, and decent food are basic expectations that should not be compromised. Unfortunately, this stay was unpleasant, and I would not return or recommend this hotel to others.

Disliked: I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel did not accept credit card payments, which was very inconvenient. Because I paid in cash, I was unable to receive a refund, making the situation even more frustrating. Although the hotel was advertised as a 4-star property, it lacked several basic amenities and services. There were no "Do Not Disturb" signs available for guests, so housekeeping staff frequently knocked on the door and called out "Housekeeping," disrupting my privacy and rest. In addition, the room's safe locker did not work, which raised concerns about the security of my valuables. The hotel also did not provide adequate accessibility features for guests with special needs. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options, which was one of the few positive aspects of the stay. Overall, the hotel did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star hotel, and I would not recommend it.

THE MAN ON DUTY ON SEPTEMBER 28 AT NIGHT WAS RUDE. MORNING BEFORE WE LEFT THE HOTEL FOR TOUR WE WERE ONLY GIVEN NEW TOWELS BY AN AUTIE AND THAT’S IT, SO WE ASKED FOR ROOM CLEANING WHILE WE WERE OUT. WHEN WE GOT BACK IT WAS STILL DIRTT SPECIALLY UNDER BED AND THE FLOOR FULL OF DUST HE INSISTED THT IT WAS CLEANED NOT SURE WHY HE ALSO WAS SO PISSED THAT WE DISTURBED HIM FROM PLAYING ON HIS PHONE AS A TOURIST WE TRIED OUR VERY BEST TO COMMUNICATE WITH TRANSLATOR HOWEVER WE STILL ENDED UP CLEANING OUT OWN ROOM I JUST BORROWED 2 pcs of cleaning materials NO SORRY NOR ANYTHING JUST RUDE BEHAVIOR. WATCH OUT FOR THIS
