Liked: We liked the small size of the hotel, the character of the buildings and rooms with lots of wood, the landscaped area with lots of trees and how quiet it was at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The beds need to be replaced - they are hard, lumpy and very uncomfortable. Also, a comfortable loveseat or comfy sitting chairs are needed as there is only the kitchen table with the usual small wooden chairs that are fine for a meal, but not good for relaxing afterwards.

Liked: The breakfast and size of the room

Disliked: The bed was a little stiff, no wash cloth, and no way to adjust the heat.

Liked: Beautiful property, the garden is lovely with so many roses. The wood cabins are cozy with gas heating. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The staff left us next morning’s breakfast the night before which was a nice touch. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive with anything we needed.

Disliked: A little far from downtown. It’s best to have a vehicle.

Disliked: Cats everywhere. The lodge has a restaurant the cats were on the tables. Heating systems are antique, not in a good way. breakfast was included looked great. But it was prepared in a cat filled kitchen. could not eat it safely. box lunch was offered, which we declined. Cat hair on the bedding and on rugs. Don't book this if you have Any allergies!

Liked: The breakfast was not what we normally eat, especially me, since I don't eat dairy or sugar. But it was lovely to have it delivered to our rooms.

Disliked: avena or muesli for breakfast. Fruit with no sugar. Rice or almond milk.

Liked: Beautiful view and rustic feel. Excellent cats:-) A nice place to relax.

Disliked: The bed was very firm, and the pillows were lumpy.

Liked: Amazing hotel in el calafate! We had an entire cabin overlooking the lagoon. Comfortable and clean. Hearty breakfast that was brought right to the room. Great location, price and staff

Disliked: It is a little bit old, but nice

We booked last minute and there were not many choice so ended up here. Its a good 30 minute walk from town centre but there are one or two good bars restaurants just nearby (Shackleton Solo) was good. Chalet room was nice with a small kitchen. Breakfast is pretty basic and left the night before. Specifically we had a gas leak in our bedroom which they were not able to fix so we had no heat for 2 days. Generally it all feels a bit shambolic in the way it is managed. However the frontline staff were super helpful and supportive. Food in the restaurant was fine and as with most things in Argentina good value.
