The location here is excellent, and the room is very clean. We had to check in late after 11 PM, and the staff member Raffaele kindly helped us. However, we were unaware that we had to pay the 30 euro late check-in fee in cash, so we were only able to pay Raffaele two days later; we are grateful for his patience in waiting. The lady who cleaned the room every day was very kind and tidied up the room thoroughly. However, the downside of this place is that it is not a hotel. It is more like an Airbnb, converted from an apartment unit with door locks installed in each room. For this reason, there is no reception area. Nevertheless, since only one room key is provided, it becomes very inconvenient if two people sharing the same room have different schedules. With no reception to leave the key at and only one available, the person holding the key must adjust their schedule to return to the accommodation for the other person. We did not anticipate this problem as we were planning to travel together, but there are always problems when traveling. We had to travel to different places for two days due to my friend's health issues, and we experienced significant inconvenience during this time. If they do not intend to operate a reception, they should provide at least two room keys. When I inquired with the host via WhatsApp, the host refused to provide an additional key. I am satisfied with the low price and good quality but if the room key issue is not resolved, I will not stay here the next time I visit Sorrento.

Liked: How close it was to the city center, clean room and comfy bed.

Liked: Great location, close to central piazza & bus station. Heater eventually worked great(January stay) & shower pressure/hot water/shampoo/soap was very welcomed. Sufficient bed coverings & pillows. Plus extra blanket. And they serviced the room each of the 3 days!! THIS WAS EXCELLENT!! Luggage bench/closet space was so helpful. Elevator to 3rd floor! Room was very clean. Photos accurately reflect room/view. Easy to walk down to port to get on boat to Capri. Easy walk to bus stop to take boat to Amalfi coast/Ravello. Restaurants/shopping within walking distance. Good/reliable communication with host.

Disliked: When you walk up from bus stop and see the Orange building sign: it’s NOT this building! Entrance to actual building is much scarier and does not reflect actual room. The listing should show exterior of building for an honest listing. Bathroom window does not secure so it would be open upon my return at night and the room was FREEZING. Plus it takes a long 20 minutes for room to warm up. These comments do not detract from a well-priced room in a good/safe location.

Liked: It was comfy and clean. Everything worked perfectly and close to the historic downtown, train and bus station and nice restaurants.
