Sri Panwa Phuket Luxury Pool Villa Hotel

This was my first visit and I wasn’t impressed. The front desk staff kept pushing paid upgrades even though the room I booked was more expensive than another corner room that supposedly had a morning sunrise view. My room’s view was completely blocked by trees, and when I raised the issue I got insincere responses from the same staff member. In the end they didn’t change my room because the service lacked genuine effort from the start. The drivers and other staff were decent, but one stay is enough — I probably won’t return. Not what I’d expect from a 5-star hotel.

Liked: Amazing stuff and management

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We reserved luxury pool villa, the view was fabulous and breathtaking and also this hotel is located in quiet side of phuket

Disliked: There were a lot of bugs and other creatures in the room, including various insects, worms, and cockroaches. We even found frogs in the bathroom several times. The hotel could do much better with pest control and improve hygiene in this regard.

Outstanding couple retreat

I took more than 15 resorts, this one is the best.

Pros Beautiful interior! The suite's private pool was great. The main pool is pretty and large—perfect for people who love swimming. You can use the facilities after checkout. There are excellent showers next to the main pool so you can rinse off before leaving (there's a hairdryer). Breakfast desserts were tasty. Cons We found a huge caterpillar as soon as we entered the room. We also found a large cockroach in the master bedroom. The sunbeds next to the private pool and the area around the bathtub were not cleaned. (They said they couldn't clean because of the rain, but I think they should have checked and cleaned before check-in. It wasn't raining while we were checking in at the lobby.) We had to wait while they cleaned everything. It's still creepy that I saw them kill the cockroach by smashing it with a shoe. They brought a plate of fruit as a courtesy, but honestly... ㅠ Having a cockroach in the honeymoon suite was really unpleasant. Also, there are tons of mosquitoes!!! There were mosquito coils placed around, but make sure to ask them to light them all when you check in and spray your personal repellent. I got bitten all over and have been using insect repellent cream since returning home.
