“A truly wonderful stay made unforgettable by the spotless rooms, delicious food, and Tuan's exceptional hospitality!”
Liked: My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay, and we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who made it so special. A huge thank you to the cleaning team. Our room was spotless every single day. To the kitchen team, every meal was perfect. The food was fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with real passion (special thanks to the chief and waitress). ( ala carte and Steakhouse ) And a very special thank you to Tuan. Your kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Always with a smile, we will remember your thoughtfulness for a long time. Thank you all for such a memorable experience. We hope to return soon!
Disliked: Everything was perfect

“Very good hotel that needs some improvement to be great”
Liked: The hotel was really great. It is in front of a bikini beach and we could go for a swim every time we wanted. The room was really nice and clean and it had an amazing view from our balcony. The personnel was very helpful and kind and they made us feel welcome. They also gave us a birthday cake 😍 The hotel also has an infinity pool which is great for photos at sunset but not so good to swim in. Furthermore, we really enjoyed the dinner at the hotel's restaurant. 10/10
Disliked: The thing that I didn't like 100% was the breakfast. Breakfast was nice but also the same every single day; I wanted some variety. Also, fruits and cakes were uncovered and there were flies over them, which made me not to choose from these options. Also, coffee and mocktails were too expensive

“Flawless Stay at Stone Hotels!”
I booked a birthday getaway stay at Stone Hotels via Agoda from the 3rd to the 5th, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The welcome was seamless guests were picked up right at the speedboat by buggy, and check-in was smooth and effortless. Upon arrival in the room, they were pleasantly surprised by amazing birthday bed decorations and a birthday cake! The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the infinity pool was absolutely to die for. The room on the 7th floor was clean, comfortable, and boasted the absolute best view. Throughout the stay, the staff was warm and welcoming, and departure service was just as smooth. Zero complaints across the board the only downside was having to leave! Booking through Agoda was effortless as always. Highly recommend Stone Hotels for a special celebration!

“Amazing holiday with just a couple of gripes...”
Liked: Staff were lovely - a little too overfriendly at times, if we are being honest (very full on, using familiar names and constantly asking if we like everything and are we having a good stay etc.). They were exceptionally attentive and remembered your room number/names/table preference etc. Hotel was lovely - clean, tidy and with lovely views!
Disliked: There were only ten sunbed cushions for over 20 sunloungers. Smokers were sat at the bar or seating area directly outside the buffet restaurant, meaning their smoke was affecting our meal experience. We had to move tables during two meals. The hotel decided to change the buffet dinner provision to a set menu on one night due to lower occupancy - in addition to this not being what we expected, the meal choices were all spicy without less spicy/reducing the spice in them options. A lot of people did not like the food and the chef was not very happy about the complaints (he came out of the kitchen to tell us how "he knows how spicy to make things and he knows just the right amount of spice to use for different nationalities". Neither of us enjoyed our evening meal that night. This is more about the island in general/council responsibility- the litter that washes up on the island doesn't seem to be picked up. There was so much on the beaches all around the island and floating in the sea. We both said how it let the island down. Just a morning sweep every day would make a huge difference (especially when there is such a big issue with plastics in the sea and protection of our marine environment/animals).

“This type of room is highly recommended.”
Our arrival in Dhiffushi went smoothly the first night — there was a speedboat 🚤 that took us directly from the airport to the island, and after we disembarked an eco-friendly vehicle brought us to the hotel. Someone took care of our luggage the whole way. We booked a room on the fourth floor of the hotel with a side balcony. It wasn’t a full panoramic sea view, but you can see the ocean from two different angles. That helped me know where to watch the sunrise the next day ✅ We also chose a room rate that included breakfast 🍳 + dinner 🍲, and with two buffet meals a day the price felt reasonable. I have to say the hotel’s buffet is worth enjoying every day — the food is varied and healthy, and the staff are warm and friendly. A big thank you to the lovely Maya, who proactively helped us sort out our plans for the next two days and provided useful snorkeling 🤿 arrangement information 📃

“Service details need training.”
This was our second night in Dhiffushi. We extended our stay and, since our original room had been booked by someone else, we agreed to book another room again on Agoda. I didn’t expect this room upgrade experience to be so poor. First, at Stone Hotels Dhiffushi the differences in facilities between rooms are really minor. Our upgraded room was on the second floor and the sea view was blocked by palm trees on both sides. One of the bedside lamps in the room didn’t work and a floor mat was missing, but those were minor issues. The main problem was the a la carte dining service — a major failure for Stone. A young waitress directed us, two guests who had ordered from the a la carte menu, to wait and eat in a dining area without air conditioning. We were kind and patient and didn’t complain about the heat, but later when I opened the sealed glass door to go to the bar to pay, I discovered she was enjoying the air-conditioned area by herself. I wasn’t enraged at that moment, just asked why she hadn’t allowed us to dine there. Her and her manager’s reply was basically the same: “Oh, everyone feels temperature differently, and you didn’t ask to dine here.” Excuse me?! Afterwards we asked to speak with the hotel’s on-duty manager to handle the matter. After we raised the complaint that night, the restaurant called us a total of 11 harassing times — around 21:00 and again the next morning. The duty manager came over wearing a green manager’s uniform, held his head high and didn’t meet my eyes at all. He arrogantly discussed the unpleasant incident with me. Only after I angrily said, “I just want a reasonable way for you to say sorry,” did he grudgingly say “sorry” in a very arrogant tone and tell me, “These things, like the restaurant said, are your own problem.” I was genuinely angered and had reached my limit. I think this is a hotel with decent facilities and a beach, but with extremely poor service posing as upscale. They show no basic empathy for guests and blame visitors for routine conflicts. Although at checkout the front desk told me I would only need to pay half for that meal, I still want to say: Stone, please train your staff properly. Don’t waste the natural gifts of the Maldive Islands.
